very good :), it's just the refrain on the 6. note were it's supposed to be a high C# and on the 7 note a B With a high D plucked at the same time. Good Version otherwise. Keep 'em coming

Loved some of your ideas. There is one thing however that pisses me of with all the Running the Family bass covers, that is the rythm of the main riff is wrong. So let my try and explain what i mean. The riff goes: E-E-(F#)-G-G-(g#)-A-A-(a#)-B-B-D-D. Then it goes: E-E-(f#)-G-G-(g#)-A-A-B-B-D-D. Notice the difference between the first and second phase, even Mark King says is essentia for the song. Have a listen here you can clearly hear the difference between the first and second phrase, go to 4:25 and you can hear it even more Mark King from Level 42 gives a bass masterclass

Hey Karsten. I feel like jackass now. I think what you said makes sense, it's one of those things that people often don't pick. I had my bass turned up very loudly when I was learning this tune. Cheers!

Terry Romanio Nah don't feel like a Jack ass, the only reason i think why i have noticed that Little skip when i learned is because i played in a band where we did a cover of the song and i was arranging it, so i had to leard every part of it. I didn't notice it t first either :)

+Funkmaster K great point - I would also add that when trying to cover any of Mark King's stuff it's always important to remember the ghost notes. They're just as important as the actual audible notes - practice your triplets.

True. Not only that but also left hand slap. Mark King's technique is based on combination of right and left and slap, alternating the hands
