It's glitch for bots I've seen a LVL 14 kirlia level 13 frogadeer and LVL 15 charmander

I once had a glitch with water bear where I actually never got my skill 2. I think it was a bot match so it didnt matter but FOR SOME REASON I never got the water shield and instead had the tackle move for the entire game

From what I know this bug happens when you get so much EXP that you skip an evolution. Like for example, he was charmander lvl 4, but then got so much EXP in one go that he immediately got lvl 7. Thus skipping 1 evolution

Saw this bug a few times with Gardevoir/Kirlia too

I had a similar bug like 3 years ago. While playing Crustle, I still had Rock Throw until I hit level 7 somehow. It dealt so much damage and stunned. It felt dirty.

I remember when I fought a Kirlia that would never evolve, even at level 15. Though that was in a Halloween quick match, didn't know it could happen outside of quick matches.

Gotta love a seasoned streamer like CrisHeroes who has played over 17k games matched up with someone who has played a total of 120 games in Unite.

This also happened to me once about a half year ago. I ended up with a level 14 Lampent in my team lol.

It's just a bug. The animations of Charizard are being played by Charmeleon and he has the stats of a Charizard.

I thought about this item being implemented into the game, youde be stuck with lvl 1 moves but gain a huge buff in stats since you will not be getting these from evolutions, Greedent with tackle could be a good contender for this.

We had a level 10 Kirlia in a game before too, such a weird niche glitch

i actually kind of like the idea of everstone as an item for the game, maybe have it to where pokemon can learn unique moves they can't normally learn while also giving them power to make up for the lack of evolutions, could add some extra depth for pokemon that otherwise wouldn't have gotten it and also have pokemon gain new evolutions like having duraludon get archaludon

Oddly enough I’ve seen this happen three times with garde where it will look like a kirlia even at lv13. Weird that I’ve seen it mostly with her

I had this happen during solo challenge a few weeks ago. Just had a lvl 14 Kirlia running around and ulting everybody XD

This bug is a very good idea for new game mode called "Everstone" In this map pokemons will remain in there first stage tough they get upto 15lvl. The Hp & Atk stats must reduce so they can counter them easily. And map theme be like kindergarten or cute stuff like unicorns and rainbow.

To give the player the benefit of the doubt, and a bit of an explanation maybe, I think this was a case of an extreme lag spike that resulted in a lost connection, as that happens network packets are dropped (data lost in transmission) which can cause other users to desync visually, and Timi may not have (knowing them, likely, actually) properly written their netcode to account for this. They already have poor lag compensation and resync infrastructure, so it wouldn't surprise me. For those curious: Their resync is bad because after a DC you obviously want to reconnect to try and save the game, but it takes ages to rejoin, essentially they just lazily resync with the replay feature set to max speed, so the longer you played before the DC the longer it takes to rejoin, so their system effectively torpedo's any chances to recover games in these unfortunate situations. Their lag compensation is bad because, compared to other games packet loss, and relatively high ping isn't cushioned with basic interpolation (interp/lerp snapshot buffer) and adjustable packet rate functions that you may recognize if you've played beloved source games like TF2, as they have customizable values for those functions (cl_interp, and cl_cmdrate/cl_updaterate) that have selectable settings attuned for those without access to more reliable fiber-optic internet (rural areas in general don't get the best internet), Valve correctly considered this, Timi did not. Packet rates could be automated to slow down on weaker connections as to avoid dropped packets if the connection can't handle a fast packet rate (dropped packets are the worst of all network maluses, besides straight up losing connection, so avoiding it should be a priority, but not for Timi apparently). This changing of packet rate could kick in with Snapshot Buffers, which "controls how reliable to consider the snapshots (packets) you receive from the server to apply client-side buffering/smoothing between snapshot receives. Also known as linear interpolation (lerp or interp)." (from TF2 config app doc: mastercomfig, mastercoms et. al.) This eases perceived lag by skipping packets received from the server (those packets may have been dropped or delayed), and interpolating/smoothing the gaps between them, this reduces the chance of dropping packets as there as less packets that can be dropped. So by the looks of things Timi has unsurprising likely implemented none of these measures.

@@toasteroven6761 Games do not use Tcp right? Is it something built upon Udp, hence the loss of packets. Also, the charizad does appear for few seconds and then it reverts back. So, maybe something else going on here?

@@daphenomenalz4100 UDP is great for keeping ping, bandwidth, and cost down-----it just risks packet loss. Of course, with enough care, mitigation of this problem is possible. There is certainly the possibility the evolution bug was of an entirely different problem or even multiple problems. Further reading in this comment section indicates it could be exp related (too much exp gained it skips the evo level) with coincident timing to a player experiencing lag or a potential DC.

Charmander used Idle! It is super effective against Evolving into Charizard.

I have noticed characters left moving button doesn’t do well sometimes in this game, noticed it while playing nightslash zoroark, couldn’t do combo anymore all of a sudden, I like feint better but depending of the enemy team composition I use nightslash for fun. My network speed is around 100ms is that the reason? Device is good.

Well the draft mode only works if all 10 players are over 1400 and your games are hard because you are a duo running into other duos and trios

EDIT : nevermind, I don't get it. it thought it was like he doesn't evolve if he doesn't take his move and he went from lvl 8 to 13 in a few second.. but even that wouldn't make sense cuz Charizard insta evolve anyway..
