The opponent has a 50% chance to break through confusion, if I recall correctly, and a 33% chance of actually hitting a PokeMon with max evasion. That's a 16.5% chance, which needs to occur twice in a row (once to break Bidoof's sub, and another to actually kill Bidoof.)

Yes, Chesto or Lum berry could have prevented that, but I'm not sure what item the Bidoof really was holding. Maybe it was one of the two, just in case, or maybe it was something else that we can't clearly see the effects of. Either way, yes, you could avoid it with a berry.

To disprove the theory that this is fake, moves with 100 acuracy can miss when a pokemons evasiveness is raised or accuracy is lowered. Unless the move specifically says it cannot miss, such as shockwave, it can miss when acuracy and evasiveness have been affected at some point during the battle

And about people saying "ermagawd fakeee beeduff cant deel soo much demege" it's because of toxic and confusion damage. If they were immune to toxic (such as Lucario) bidoof would use thunder wave which paralyzes. Confusion damage is 50% chance and getting paralyzed is 25% chance which makes 75% chance failing to attack. Also he used a cheat so that bidoof wouldn't level up. Sucker punch failed because Bidoof only had status moves and sucker punch only works on pokemon that have used a move that deals damage.

No one's proved me wrong yet. Again, this doesn't work against her lucario, it has Aura Sphere; no amount of double teaming will work. I could just give the rat the same moveset as what I did for Dunsparce since her Spiritomb allows you to setup as much as you want but you also can't endeavor that. I should've rephrased it to say I don't want to do the same Rattata moveset that everyone knows works but wouldn't work on her. If I just gave Rattata the same moveset as Bidoof, cept tack on Double Team instead of Thunder Wave, I could do that. I could also do that with almost every other normal type in the game at level 1 that can learn it. That video was a really well done takedown, the difference it was on Steven, not Cynthia. One's not harder than the other, Cynthia is arguably easier actually. But they are different fights.

Not necessarily. Paralysis only cuts the attacking Pokemon's speed by 25%. I never struck first on any of her Pokemon except for Milotic and the only reason for that is because Milotic likes to use Dragon Tail. Dragon Tail is a -6 priority move meaning no matter what the speed of my Bidoof is, it'll attack second. If Milotic used Blizzard or Hydro Pump (which it also has), then it would attack Bidoof first. Hope that clears things up!

Most likely because confusion was nerfed from a 50% chance to a 33% chance in gen 7.

I would love to see one day if Moody doesn't affect evasiveness stat. Pretty sure its gonna be legal in competitive.

late reply but it was allowed in Gen 8 because it doesn't affect accuracy and evasion anymore then it was banned again because someone proved it was still OP with Protect+Sub+Disable+Freeze-Dry Glalie (can be also done with Octillery, although not as effective as Glalie)

The ultimate Pokémon, Bidoof has been my favorite Pokémon for a long time now, and now it is even more so

I like how eelektross moves along with the song

I think this is why Smogon has evasion and swagger clauses...
