In this video we will discuss the pathology of Leukoplakia and Erythroplakia
Leukoplakia and Erythroplakia are premalignant conditions of oral cavity that can transform into squamous cell carcinoma of the mouth.
Leukoplakia are defined as white patches or plaques that cannot be scraped off and cannot be characterized clinically or pathologicaly as a any other disease
whereas
Erythroplakia are red velvety lesions that can be flat or elevated.
