the story about wes' tech that looked like beetlejuice forgetting the 4 string guitar for the mtv spring break performance of nookie is really interesting for me in particular. it was a re-airing of that performance on mtv (right before 9/11 happened) that made me want to play guitar to begin with (the performance where at the end, fred pushes an explosive plunger and a boat blows up). instead of the 4 string, he played a red ibanez ax 7 string. life changer. thats where it all began for me. i hope fred's doing ok after the house burning down. that shits brutal, if they had a kickstarter i would definitely donate
