that's the norm for most people if you don't live in the dead centre of a city, the closest drive thru or shopping centre/shops is 25/30 mins away

Grace Callery haha we have those too, they just tend to put nicer restaurants in them. Usually the fast food/cheaper places are just scattered closer to housing developments.
