    That and the fact that although they can't speak each other's language, the cultural (Anglophone vs Francophone Canada) divide that predisposes them to be hostile to one another enables them to understand one another perfectly while not understanding the particular words that are being said.

    in Canada, french is one of the two languages and many english speakers can either speak or at least understand french so its not unheard of other than that this scene is spot-on, its perfect XD

    @@milesjohnson4526 Other countries call a four-year school a "university." Only Americans call it "college." CEGEP is really more like a prep school -- one year added between high school and university. As a result, the Canadian university system is more consistently good than the American one, which although it has some great universities also has a lot of really shitty ones.

    folks are surprised that Wayne speaks french but as someone that grew up in rural canada like a third of people that own acreages and farms come from quebecois/acadian backgrounds...idk why. also i went to a french immersion school, and french is printed on everything so most people know at least a little

    I am so saddened by this video I almost want to cry. I want to cry over the fact - as an American - I know 99.999% of Americans who might see this video will have absolutely no clue how outrageously funny and biting this video clip is. God love the Canadians and their sense of humor. I do love Quebec (and Canada), but I could do without the poutine. TABARNAK!
