I have memorized this poem, and regularly recite it to myself or to friends. It almost always moves me to tears!!! This was one of the many little things that helped me through a really tough time of life, and I am so very grateful. God bless you!!!

"It's like you've been down for so long now that you've forgotten up is even a choice." This is so deep and meaningful. It brought me to tears. Thank you for reminding me that even when circumstances are less than favorable, our _outlook_ is a choice we make ourselves. This line is going to stay with me for a long time.

I've listened to this video probably hundreds times over the past 3 months as I was finishing up the requirements to become a emt (which I finally am one and joined the local crew) and even now I listen to this one every now and then because it reminds me of why I started trying to be an EMT and ultimately reinforces it in my mind when I start to forget so really all I can say is thank you for making this as if helped me not just through a point in my life when I was having trouble but also gave me strength/courage to stay true and become the man I am today

My friend sent this to me when I was having anxiety attacks and panic attacks and so much stuff going on in my life that was not making it good and I started crying

I’ve listen to this more than once to inspire and remind me as I start my days now. I will build up from this turmoil of pain and clutter. Today IS my new beginning. I am old and approaching the age most begin to think of retirement and I’ve found myself on both knees defeated and literally back at zero fighting for a survival. You will someday hear back from me about my journey and survival.

It's been awhile since I listened to this. But I'm glad I came back to it, recent was doubting myself as I'm preparing to go to medic school questioning where I'm going what I've done where to go.
