I see the same tips on all the 3 compared iems. Are these the KBEar 07 (Medium - white color) ones ? Great review. Is P1 Max still your top contender in the planar roundup (especially compared to the Timeless) ?

Haven’t heard the Wu Zetian nor the S12 Pro, but I have compared the S12 to Raptgo Hook X, to my ears, the Hook X has the better tonality. While I need to EQ the S12 to enjoy the it, I could enjoy the Hook X without EQ. All being said, if EQ is applied to both, they sound similarly fantastic.

The S12 pro is the same as the S12 in audio, just a different color and supports different cable adapters.

Another great impression love your comparisons. Tony ? Did you ever listen to the GS SE12 I know your a fan of GS but never saw a review? Bought a used set and fell in love my engame but looking for similar. Cheers J

Thanks for the review mate. Can you please elaborate more on s12 vs tangzu wu. Is the Wu as capable as s12 in terms of bass speed and overall detail retrieval?

The Wu Zetian is incredible ....as compared to S12 original I think it's superior, fixing the issues of borderline excess energy and providing more correct tonaliy and timbre overall. The Prometheus modded S12 is a different beast.

Thanks for the review. Will you please include graphs as previous reviews. In my opinion they are very informative.

There are two sides to the S12 Pro: - People who say there are no differences in tuning, which includes the rep of letshouer, Joseph. - People who claim there is a difference between the S12 Pro and the OG model. I suspect there might be unit variance or the different nozzle makes a difference.

Yes the.noozle filter is different.....but I find hard to believe it will change things the way it done. I am more down to accept driver variance.....I know of some S12 OG that graphed all smooth without the typical jagged edges...so yes it's a viable explanation

Is it just me or the fin on wu zetian seems counterintuitive cause for me it pushes the set out of ear and not keep it in?

I currently have the Urbanfun YBF and thieaudio legacy 4. I prefer the Urbanfun because of its bass and laid-back sound. The legacy 4 is fatiguing and shouty for me. Do you think I will like the S12 pro? Thanks.

If you like the more laid back sound the S12PRO is very much pending towards that. However the P1Max is the most relexed one

Hi, they sound a little artificial....but depends on music and artist

they haven't confirmed such a retune. I've heard/read them saying pro is just an s12 with a modular cable. What if that difference is just a lucky mistake :D

Could be .....it's possible , but I based my comment on 4 sets of S12 all.graphing within 2dB of eachother. Anyway of it is a mistake its a good one..... makes up for the times I get lemons. Btw how's the iOne?

@@akros9333 it may not live up to its price tag, we just talked a little with mahir but I don't want to get influenced by his impressions to be honest. He is going to sent me my jvc ha fdx1 back. He might send a few others including iOne too.

I just ordered the timeless. Was debating between the s12 pro but went with the timeless. Hopefully it was the right move. 🤔

Honestly if you get a good set, as there are some which are not graphing as Intended I would say go for it..... but honestly I would buy a P1Max.....it's an amazing Planar! As for AudioSense DT600 it's superior to i3pro.

Like yr reviews but can you pls put yr mouth a bit closer to yr mic? I struggle to hear you on my laptop and have to use headphones each time hehe

They should have decreased the treble a bit while theu increased the bass. It's too much and would've gave a viable option for people who are sensitive to treble and really want that smoothness.

He's the only reviewer I know that has both the S12 and S12 Pro graphed pretty much the same.. Other reviewers' graphs have seen a difference in the tuning between the two.. notable difference was the slightly more bass and slightly less of that treble, especially around the 8k region iirc.. But either way, the S12 Pro sounds amazing to me, a huge upgrade over the Tin Hifi T3+

The Z12 is a S12.....theres nothing that makes it different....the story of the extra bass is to convince us there is a difference......first a 2db at the lowest of the lowest is imperceptible to most, then there driver variance.....I own 6 S12....and 2 of them have way more bass....4db more than the average of the rest. They have the same bass level as the S12PRO. All the rest is the same....great dynamics.....open detailed mids and highs.....huge 3d effect
