Great video fam! Beautiful ship, we're getting married on it next year! Also, welcome to cruising, my family and I are big cruisers and love to see new families and couples enjoy it as well! That was the harbor pilot lol, depending on the ship, sometimes you can see them jump off the ship back onto their boat. They are the experts in guiding these massive vessels in and out of each port. I hope you were able to catch the one from Nassau, it's pretty cool! Looking forward to the next video.

Omg thats when we were on too!! We didn't have a problem with the food at all. The buffet wasn't the best food we have ever had, but it was pretty good to us. Took us til 4th night to realize that we could eat at the main dining room which we thought was great. Cheesecake! Awesome to hear you guys enjoyed it too.

Yeah... we ate @ L'Olivo D'oro at deck 6 at 8:00 for dinner after the 1st Broadway show. The seafood was so-so, the steak was good...and not to mention "the hot water incident" in the morning when we arrived at Ocean Cay...but lucky it got fix by the late afternoon@@TheRamFam4

Ya the hot water thing was kinda inconvenient. Coming back from the island all salty and sunscreen covered and just want a nice shower. Lol. I was the only one who jumped in the freezing cold shower. Idk if hot would have felt good anyway with my sunburn haha.

Oooo coming right up! Exciting! We stayed the night in NY the night before so we were there pretty early, but it seemed pretty smooth. When we first came into the port are, there were 2 lines and the right was shorter, so we went in it and it turned into the cab line so idk if that'll be something to look out for cuz we then had to merge into left lane as did all other cats and cabs. Then when we got close to the ship where you can see the terminal and luggage crews, we had to veer left for dropping off luggage and then parking. I was more nervous getting off the highway and getting on the right road more than anything lol. I think next cruise we do, we are just gunna carry our own suitcases in. Twice now we had 1 not show up with the rest and had to go search for it. Where you driving from?

I just got back from a cruise on this ship and I can tell you that my expectations weren’t good at first, well I was surprised on how beautiful the ship is and how good the food was considering the bad reviews, sometimes its better to risk it and give it a try for yourself!

They were heated yes. Even the waterslide water felt warm.

We did do the fun pass to give us some extra points for the gaming area. They put it all on one card. We are always together anyway so wasn't bad to share. They said any extra points that don't get used can be used in arcade too

When docked we could see it from our port side, but the ship then backed up and turned the other direction so when leaving the port, starboard side was the side we passed by it

We did purchase 150 points for $100 so if you do it that way, you get the 50 extra credit for free

We monitor it pretty good. We just are always with them and watching. There has to be a way to set a limit tho we did not.

We didn't think they were too bad actually. Nothing crazy amazing, but weren't uncomfortable. We all usually slept pretty good.

Are you guys planning excursions once u get to the islands........if so what are the rules on leaving the ship is it a hassle to do so?

We didn't do excursions on this one. Wanted a more relaxed schedule and definitely saved a bunch by not. Last cruise we went to blue lagoon in nassau which was a beautiful spot and easy to sign up. Walked off ship and they have different signs and lines per excursion. We walked maybe 200 feet to the ferry boat that brought us to the island so it's right off the ship. Every port, you have the option to get off the ship regardless of excursions if you just want to walk around, get a cab or something to a store or beach. Just show seacard when leaving and when boarding back and its pretty straigh forward. They have an excursion desk inside the ship to help you sign up and any information. The blue lagoon just took 45 minutes 1 way so didn't seem like we had enough time for the money spent so we just walked to junkanoo beach on this last cruise. We do have the blue lagoon excursion video on the channel. Was last June if you are interested.

O man, it took a bit actually. We decided to go early so there at 9ish maybe and took an hour to get through the lines and security and check in and what not. Then, had to wait an hour or so in the terminal seating area for the boat to unload before we could get on. 2.5-3 hours maybe? Felt like forever anyway as you are in vacation mode and just wanna get on.

@TekZombi the wait definitely didn't ruin it for us so ya, we definitely book with them again. Overall it was a great cruise for us. We also don't hold high expectations with anything and just enjoy our time with eachother with whatever we do. If money wasn't an issue tho we would probably choose royal Caribbean icon of the seas. That ship looks insane. We want to do an Alaskan cruise too. Hope it all works out for you guys 😁

@@TheRamFam4 Thanks bud, appreciate all the info. She is new at cruising and I've gone on a couple of the standard lines - Princess and Holland. Actually, if i could bend your ear with one other question about the main dining room. MSC indicates a +$5 charge for each additional Entrée ordered. Honestly I don't mind that at all. Tho' I do wonder, did you guys order more than one appetizer or dessert and if so, did it cost more? Even the MSC reps I've called had no clue about that and only kept repeating things like, 'maybe' 'maybe one at a time' 'yes every additional is a charge' 'you can get as many as you want without a charge'. lol. It seems like they don't even know the truth behind additional appetizers and desserts.

My passport was expired so I used Id and birth certificate and had no problem. As long as it's the birth certificate from a vital records office and not the original certificate of live birth from the hospital

My father in law went on a jam cruise and he said they made chocolates and put them into trail mix. Just an idea. Lol
