That train station is BEAUTIFUL, great job Welfare! I hope the tortoises are happy in their new enclosure. If you don't want to use rocks near the track where they can escape, you could use some sort of foliage that isn't traversable-saltwort would fit in with the creosote bushes, or you could sink elephant grass under the ground like with the peafowl.

No little changes there! You revamped the whole hippo enclosure and the train. Gotta say, it does look so much better now. Great executive decision!👍🏾 The tortoises always have stress if you don't use the one-way glass, but totally understand that you are done changing that out. Nothing is worse or more irritating than one of your favorite games keep lagging out. So definitely change the settings so that your awesome zoo works as smooth as possible. Hopefully Frontier fixes these problems asap. Do agree with Welfare tho, he had the best chill spot. He's definitely thinking outside of the box😉 Another great vid Matty, keep it up✌🏾🦖

The issue with the enrichment could also be because you're using the wrong enrichment items. Not all animals will use the same enrichment items, that's why you want to filter it out for that particular animal so that way you only see those particular enrichment items when you're working on their habitat.

i do filter the items, they do have the right things

You can put the keep quiet signs around the tortoise enclosure and that will help with their stress levels 👍🏻😊

Their enrichment goes down when there’s more animals in the exhibit just because they want more for the amount in so they all can play with them

i found this out after getting rid of loads of the warthogs lol

I made my tortoise encloser so guests could walk through it using the guest gates and it worked out really well!

Looks so good, Matty. I love the whole train station area, brilliant stuff! Your enrichment for Warthogs has nosedived because they've had lots of babies. Now there is more strain on the amount of food enrichment required with more mouths to feed. I've had the same issues with my Lion enclosures where my male and his hareem of ladies were at 100% food enrichment easily. Once there were a dozen or so cubs running around it was down to about 15% meaning I had to double and even triple up on food enrichment items. If you trade out some of the surplus adults, you can also get that number back up without adding more food items.

It’s nice to see someone else getting phantom animal escapee notifications!! 😂 The Lemurs breed like wildfire too. I put 8 in my enclosure and before I knew it there was literally 40 of them running around in there and I had to take some out. The train looks phenomenal, all the foliage around the station and the new enclosure is spot on. I’ve yet to tackle a train in my park as it terrifies me 😂 Thanks for the path correction tip too, my paths were glitching bad, now is much better.

IMO, the updated hippo enclosure looks way better than the one from the last episode. To be honest, I didn’t feel like the original design was up to your normal standards. Great work and thanks for another great episode!

i couldnt agree more! It really wasnt great lol, in the next episode i spent about 5 hours building an enclosure and then scrapped the whole thing as it wasnt good enough lol

If you end up with the tortoises trying to hide, try one way glass

id built a custom barrier unfortunate so i couldnt do that so just turned off the stress lol

Very nice video. This zoo looks so good. If the settings are necessary to change because otherwise we have ugly and bold enclosure it’s better to play with easier settings but have a beautiful build I think. Otherwise sometimes in our zoo (real life ) some enclosures are very empty. For me I love this serie and cant have enough of your videos. It’s giving me so much inspiration (I can't build myself yet - but helps me build every day better stuff. )

I love the train, its so well made, good job welfare! The planting in the tortoise habitat is gorgeous and you might as well turn off some of the settings, it makes the game more creative. For the other side of the train station i think you should add the aardvark or the pangolin, they don’t need lots of space and they’re cute. Another shout is a red panda.

For the tortoises which you want is the one-way mirror so that way they don't see all the guests looking at them that's what's stressing them out

On the other side of the station, barrier of a part of the lake and put flamingos there!

I don’t own a PC so I do all of my videos on my PS5. All the filming, editing and uploading is all done on a PS using the share factory. The only thing I don’t do on console is the thumbnails and I use an app for that

To where like people at home can look at the cameras live to where the lemurs enclose will have a camera so people can watch the live camera maybe that could be later in the series

I always get the messages about staff not being able to reach feeders they have reached before and the enclosures being too small!! So annoying!!
