    That curse is completely unblockable. In the book, it's stated by Alastair Moody: "Avada Kedavra's a curse that needs a powerful bit of magic behind it- you can get all your wands out and point them at me and say the words, and I doubt I'd get so much as a nosebleed". The curse requires great skill, power, and intention to be performed correctly. Furthermore, you also need the nerve and the ability.

    You actually can tell Sebastian that he went too far and noone should know the curse and then meet him in the Undercroft and tell him to teach you the curse before he sends you the next owl. It's pretty neat, because I couldn't commend him for what he's done, but the Ravenclaw in me wanted to know. But Tbh, it feel bad to use it sometimes - against magical creatures. I don't feel that bad for using it against poachers and other vermin. Although goblins just want to be free, so can you blame them lol?

    Honestly the unforgivables not having much consequence doesn't bother me too much. Heck the killing curse is probably the least painful way of dispatching foes in the game. Plus we see even the keepers know it and there's precedent for aurors using the spells in the future unless I'm mistaken. In the context of intent I guess the cruciatus is the hardest one to justify. But again if it's a war like scenario.... Like say a Goblin rebellion or something

  • @Phoenixfede1989

    @Phoenixfede1989

    Жыл бұрын

    the difference is following: your intent is killing with avada kedavra, ending a live, a possible love, severing bonds. while you mostly only aware of the first one that you kill someone, the others are uninventible bond to that. Aurors are allowed to use the unvorgivibles because they would prevent attrociatice with that. most other people using them do this for personal gain. even grindelwald who used crucio on a muggle don´t use it to benefit the greater good, he just wanted to live out his belief in wizarding superiority in a moment all people thought he was choosen by the quilin to be the next leader.

    This game's story was really disappointing. I was expecting the uncle to be the one that cursed her, because he was trying so hard to prevent people from looking into how to cure her, even before dark arts were involved. It's extremely suspicious when a supposed family member, someone that's supposed to care about you, tells you to give up hope. But it never went anywhere. The morality of the potterverse is very black and white, and I don't like it.
