If you shop online or ebay your can get a g305 for around $30 or someone sells the guts on etsy for $24 and can get a viper mini for around 30ish as well. So without the 3d parts will cost you about 60 which sounds good but you can also snag an open box or used RVU for around 65 -70 so alot of options for value mice out there imo.

This is one of the cheaper ones if you do. This is a good one to start as it doesn't require to much work. The viper shell if you keep the rear screw post as long as possible will allow you to fit it back on the stock viper mini base or you can glue it. Worse case you end up with a lighter viper mini 😜. The G305 you will just need to screw back together.

If you wanted a little less weight this could be an option. As far as i'm aware know one has made a custom base for that G603 pcb either so you would need to make one.

Razer Synapse 3 is not recognizing my Razer Viper Mini, is there something I could do? Or at least a way to change Polling rate since mine is stuck at 500hz

Awesome video, I hadn't realized until now that the mini doesnt require the removal of the skates to open it up. Pretty cool that razer did that.

yeah its a nice touch from razer but its a shame the DA v2 does go back to having the screws under the skates 🙁. Hopefully, they look to make sure you don't in the future.

Around 72/74g. You could perhaps get it down to 68/70g with some tweaks

Can you use a different battery like the one used in the superlight when making this mouse? Also does changing the battery to the lipo cell reduce the weight by much?

I've been maining RVM for a few months and been wanting to do this so bad, as well as on my UL2 (Zoro might have one coming tho shhhh). Just snagged a GPX on mousemarket so I'm about to do this with some GM 8.0's for funsies :)

The G305 is very efficient. I can get a few months out of it before charge. On a stock G305 with a AA I was getting around 6 months use.

can you make a video on how to change the sensor of that mouse if you can do it or not? As its the only downside

You can't swap the sensor as the pcb is made for that sensor.

Can I use the g703 to make this?

I saw someone trim the pcb of the g305 to make it fit in the Zaunkoenig m1k. Is it possible to fit it in the g wolves hsk? That one has a mouse wheel unlike the m1k.

That would be impressive, have you a link? If it will go into the m1k I did see why it wouldn't go into the hsk but I've not opened one to check. The scroll wheel and encoder will need to alight also

You can pad the gap with Mylar tape.. depends how big it is

Correct, it needs a new base that fits the G305 as the stock RVM doesn't.

But it dont register clciks it says its firm ware when i want to updtate on version 1.0.7 and it say it fauld and its firmware so it dont even register doubleclick

Don't see it working as Razer would have a Mini Ultimate for sale using that PCB.

I prefer the symm 2 over this. Made one and fit to tpgether pretty well but prob needs a lil more cut out of shell. I could never get the left click to sit flush on the pcb like the right. Same with the front side button always had problems with them cuz of the mounting tray on the 3d printed shell. The print was ok in all but the seller was a massive prick off etzy. Will never buy from again. Dont bother asking any simple questions to him.

People buy viper mini for its exceptional performance but this one is basically a wireless logitech mouse with viper mini design, which defeats the purpose of having the viper mini and also requires too much time and lot more expenses to get this done. All this video works as is just a concept, I cant imagine any rational human being doing all these stuff just to get the worst mouse at the end and use it

@@Beardedbob Not looking for a mouse, already got Mini and Ultimate too and I cant even notice any difference between the performance of these 2 even tho I play fortnite competitively, one of the most precision dependent game, thats why I mentioned Mini is an exceptional performer and I wouldnt take wireless capability if it equals to decreasing the mouse precision, its software support/features, durability and build quality overall and its very low latency, even lower than Ultimate I think (basically changing then main part of the mouse and leaving just a shell) even if it can be easily done but especially when its a huge effort for a regular person - requires additional noticeable expenses, an entire new mouse, 3d printed base, time and precision. At that point anyone is much better off buying a different wireless mouse, even the noticeably more expensive one to avoid struggle and actually get what he buys it for. If the official product (Mini wireless) isnt available it doesnt mean DIY alternatives are viable or something a real user should be considering, they are just projects. Everything I mentioned is why this video is a just concept level thing or a prototype at its best and its far from a practical aspect and very far from something anyone should be doing for real use cases, doing otherwise is just irrational. Thats what I meant, I didnt discredit your work but it isnt really even a remotely optimal way to go for an actual user.

Oooorrrr you can just spend $130 dollars for the wireless version of the razor mini instead of spending over $300 dollars for both just to make the razor mini wireless🤯

No you need a 3d custom base. If you could make a ABS one or resin then you wouldn't need a PLA printed one.

Yeah its a shame it came be more middle aligned. You could maybe glue it there. I didn't notice it having a balance issue tbh, well nothing that stood out. I found it if anything twitchy on longer sniper shots even at 68g

The fun thing is, its probably cheaper than a Viper Mini Ultimate
