"Lets make Meat and Lentils"| چلو دال گوشت بناتے ہیں"

Ingredients:
- 500 grams meat (lamb or goat, cut into pieces)
- 1 cup lentils (split red lentils or split chickpeas)
- 2 onions (finely chopped)
- 2 tomatoes (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 2-3 mint leaves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4-5 cloves
- 4-5 black peppercorns
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves (chopped, for garnish)
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 5 cups water
#### Instructions:
1. *Preparation of Lentils:*
- Wash the lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for about 30 minutes & boil it...
2. *Cooking the Meat:*
- Heat oil in a large Pateeli or pressure cooker
- Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and oil starts to separate.
- Add the meat pieces and cook on high heat until they are browned and well-coated with the spices.

3.For Rice:
• 2 cups basmati rice
• 4 cups water
• 1 tablespoon oil or ghee
• 1 teaspoon salt
Serving:
1. Serve the hot daal gosht with the prepared basmati rice.
2. Garnish with additional fresh coriander leaves, if desired.
