The game's main mechanic is that of Button Mashing: Your ship has an energy bar that constantly drains, and also affects the strength of its attacks.
To fill it up, the player has to mash the shot button. The faster the player mashes the shot button, the faster it fills, and the stronger the player's shot becomes. Players take on an armada of alien invaders and thwart their attempts.
You get four different powerups, being, Red for Flamethrower, Blue for Angled Lasers, Yellow for Plasma Spread and Green which is the default pulse blaster.
The game has 4 endings depending on your performance, one good ending and 4 bad:
Ending 1 you must fefeat all the bosses, it0's the game one.
Ending 2, let 2 bosses escape and defeat the others.
Ending 3, let 3 bosses escape and defeat the others.
Ending 4, let all the bosses escape, including the last boss.
The enemy alien bosses are named after colours. (White Feather, Red Tide, Bluish Green, Dark Brown, Green Peas, Silver Scale, Gold Mine).
The game has 7 stages of increasing difficulty and supports two players co-op.
