Our VRF Grab Bags (GB) videos are compiled from content from our cameras as Mods and fans spot something neat while watching our cameras. In the GB you will, of course, find a variety of TRAIN content, special trains, maintenance, steam, diesels, interesting rail cars, cool paint schemes and more. You will also find fun people, city events, boats, planes, cars (sometimes going wild) and nature. Thank you for taking the time to sit back and enjoy these highlight reels that we call "Grab Bags"!

Loram going back and forth on the crossing: "Why do I keep missing that spot?"
Like that catch of the honoring veterans engine
Track maintenance machines are engineering marvels😊
Love the Leigh Valley heritage unit. Was the first I personally saw in person
Was quite surprised to see a WestCoast Express locomotive way down in Waycross Georgia! A long way from home here in Vancouver BC.
That lightning flash 10:16 pause that it is awesome! Looks kinda like an island in the sky
The track work in Ashland and Altoona was neat to watch, and so was the lightning in Wichita (but I'm afraid that if you stood in that rain and inhaled you'd drown lol). The helicopter was just plain cool--another great one!
Nice Freight-car catches tonight, thanks VRF, F59PHI WCF 902 freight hauling was, different as well as the T'ropicana' Mechanical Reefers at Oklahoma. Good to see the Staff at Tucson, taking 5 and a bit of the Limelight. Chattanooga, loved seeing NS 6920 SD60E 'Honouring Our Veterans'. A nice simple livery - speaks volumes.
Another amazing Grab Bag video from Virtual Railfan!
Love Ashland Thanks VRF ❤
*Awesome Catches*
The wisconsin engines
The good old Grand Elk , on it's way to shuttle cars on and off of the sidings East of Elkhart .
The CSX 9969 a 1 of a kind. love the look of the engine.
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in multiple locations, especially the Loram, railgrinder, in Galesburg, Illinois, Heritage Units, and so much more, I like them, they're awesome, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much.
The Weeds don’t Die by Accident. If you Spray it, it will Die. Thankfully they Shut Off near RX Crossing to Save your Vehicle Paint. 🤔👍
5:17 As a newb forklift driver I did that once to a boxcar. Tried to spear frozen pulp bales when it was -20°F at the papermill where I work and took a 70 foot running start. Wound up with the towmotor sitting outside on a pile of frozen pulp with the door jammed on the ROPS. Our riggers, welders and machinists had it fixed in a few hours and thanked me for the call time and time and a half. The guy breaking me in denied to management that he told me to do that. Anyway, no repercussions.

0:57 I saw that train a little while ago NS174
15:25 Looks like the train of death.
Fun Alley
Where WCE902 going? It's pretty far from home.
It's pretty sad when the scrap carrying cars look better than those old Tropicana cars. Note how the mechanical Refrigeration units are ripped out so these probably are insulated boxcars now at best. This firm did the same thing to some old ARMN cars
Never disappoints with all the cool 😎 power and consist!🛤🚂
Some of us may not know what the Loram train is doing. Like me! I assume they are cleaning track but would like to know if that is really what they are doing.

Grinding the heads of the rails to that railroad's specs for curvature. Flanged railroad wheels are tapered, and supposed to ride on top of the rail, the flange is not supposed to regularly make contact with the side of the rail, just be there to prevent a derailment.

@@paulw.woodring7304 Thank you.
How often do those Loram machines have to change their grinding wheels
What model engine was the Atlantic Railway? It looked like an SD of some kind
Great ending, a mystery helicopter.
Is the BNSF leasing the MRL 70ACes or do they own them outright?

21:41 Amazon driver is doing a 'last mile' delivery. Hey, I ordered the fancy gift wrap!
The railroad was the best customer agent orange manufacturer ever had. The only difference was the railroad didn't spray it on their employees and then make them wear the same clothes with no shower for a month at a time
I noticed I was not on a grab-bag video I was on the skykomish virtual railfan camera on June 1 around 410pm
