A common question, “Is it hard to learn and operate on a MultiCam?”
Learning to operate a CNC router can be intimidating but at MultiCam, we manufacture easy to use and versatile CNC machines, 100% made in the USA. In this video, we will show you how we produced a personal protective equipment (PPE) acrylic barrier from start to the finished part. Our Marketing Manager who has never ran a MultiCam router was able to start cutting in relatively little time. We will cover common operator tasks include turning on/off machine and air pressure, tool replacement, load tool into cradle, calibrate tool, work piece loading and unloading, turn on vacuum, manual vacuum zones, jog the machine, set material surface, use laser pointer to set corner of material and more.
Project requirement: 2’x4’ ¼” acrylic, 4 connectors, Allen wrench

- 0.188 Edge Rounding Bit

Spindle: 8.5HP 32K RPM
Vacuum: 24HP Kinetic Blower

Why is it that my machine speeds up at straight paths and slows down on turns? The acceleration & deceleration changes were made by a EnRoute tech. Prior to that it’s been moving at requested speed throughout path 🤦🏻♂️
Thanks for the video. I have been looking at a 2006 muticam 44 plus machine . Would the control software be sinerler . I think i would need to learn coreo software also.
