The animation quality and action are nothing special, but the character dynamic between Cable's badassery and Booster Gold's goofiness make this one of the best episodes of season 7 for me. Even the analysis is well written and something I look forward to watching. Only gripe is that they do have a "Golden Tree" moment where they say Cable kept up with Silver Surfer but then mentioned that Cable lost once the Surfer got serious at the end. It wasn’t a big problem here since Booster's feats still had enough to push him ahead just based on the pre-analysis alone. I'd still prefer they don't do that kind of stuff. But hey, from one incredible episode to another, Obi-Wan Kenobi VS Kakashi is something special let me tell you. Easily the best or second best episode of the season. Beerus VS Sailor Galaxia is its only real competition for the #1 spot but sadly that episode is currently unavailable on KZread because of a copyright strike.

I'm not a huge fan of star wars nor Naruto, but let me tell you, Obi-Wan Vs Kakashi and Yoda Vs Mickey are some of the best episodes I've ever seen of this show.

Obi Wan vs Kakashi was one of my favorites. That matchup sparked a lot of fun discussions with my friends. Good times.

I've been watching you for a long time and I must say you really developed a knack for interpreting feats and powers for vs. Battles. You may as well apply for the death battle research team.

I also think Booster wins in one more area; Who'd want to hang out with Cable? BTW animation is great on the next one.

At the risk of jinxing it. I've been impressed with the restraint of the viewers not spoiling outcomes in the comments yet

I think the 12:12 was them attempting to match up the time in the video to real-time since Death Battles premiere at noon on Rooster Teeth and KZread (central time zone since they're in Texas), but it works better for the RT version since the YT version has the sponsorship to deal with

honestly, its honestly like booster is made to beat cable, as in specifically created for it

What I gotta say about this one is because of the quotes between the two especially Cable's final line as he was cursing Booster Gold while he was dying, one of my favorites. Next Time with Obi-Wan and Kakashi, even with the teaser of the Season 7 characters at the end of Might Might since like Miles and Sindel before, when I saw that Obi-Wan was going to appear in the season, it was really exciting since last time we had seen Star Wars on Death Battle was back in Season 2 when Darth Vader fought Doctor Doom like it was a long time ago prior to it but hey I hope you enjoy it next week when your reaction to it comes up.

My biggest experience with X-Men is the cartoon from the mid '90s so I don't remember much of it (when I saw the trailer for this fight I thought he was Bishop because I couldn't remember which was which, despite the shall we say obvious physical differences between them)

Probably not intentionally, which is why I brought up Sandlot: the whole "you hit/play ball/look like a girl" is the kind of casual thing you'd expect from the Dark Age of Comicbooks, along with being completely inured against death and hilarious amounts of guns. The entire decade of comics was trying to be edgy in a pale (though not unsuccessful) imitation of Watchmen and the like, which included childish sneering and anti-heroes insulting each other's manliness.

To give you a frame of reference on how the tons of TNT measurement work; think of it like measuring grams how 1000g equals 1 kg 1000 tons of TNT is equal to one kiloton 1000 kilotons is equal to 1 Megaton 1000 megatons is equal to one gigaton so on and so forth

Yeah, that's the thing. DC's universe is so full of OP characters like Superman, Wonder Woman, Doomsday, Darkseid and the like, that even a character that started off as a joke like Booster Gold is overwhelmingly OP when set against a more gritty character who's otherwise OP in a universe like Marvel's, which has characters that battle alcoholism, anger issues and identity crises. This compared to DC where their characters are basically gods - the all-powerful alien from a destroyed world, the Amazon from an invisible island, and even the billionaire heir who's the world's greatest detective while being mentally unstable, but realizes he is and plans for his own possible mental breakdown and, well, basically *everything* else.

Cable's victory was obvious the moment Deadpool appeared.

I'm really glad this match up introduced me to Booster Gold, because he's honestly one of the biggest likable losers in DC comics. And the idea that a self absorbed douche nozzle could win against a beast like Cable...well, there's something hilarious but also kind of cool about that.

Essentially Booster's forcefield protects him from everything Cable had. On top of being faster and having a way to actually kill Cable

In this case it was simply that the best offense was a good defence. I think that is the one thing Booster Gold had a clear advantage but it was just enough to negate every other advantage Cable might have.

Oh, he faked being mind-controlled (since he was protected from it), transferred his force field to Cable, trapping him and then crushing him.
