I also have hp pavilion but I have i3. It is very laggy since last 3 to 4 years. But I was able to play minecraft which is a light game. But out of nowhere my minecraft started lagging. I get 0 fps. Not even kidding. And the laptop is also very laggy. And there is some sort of bios problem and it doesn't boot. If we do some hard disk test and other thing 8t starts after 30 mins which wastes most of my time. I am a student. I don't need heavy gaming. I just need minimum 20 fps so that I can just play for sometime and also study properly. Pls can you suggest me what should I do to make the laptop faster? Should I add more ram and ssd? This laptop support maximum 8GB RAM one 4GB RAM I got from brand new laptop means only 4GB RAM is compatible. You can use two 4GB RAM or one 8GB.
