For empty jars I use an upside down flat and screw on the ring, helps keep them clean & protect the rim. Then I store in milk crates for easy hauling cause we have a cellar not connected to the house. It makes it so much easier than trying to find space for empty jars & and for transporting.

This is a great idea! I've started keeping mine in a storage area in our garage and it is so nice to not take up house space!
I always put the rings back on.. it protects the rims of the jars and also mitigates storing the rings.

I can't see what's in there so it won't work for me. I need to see things in organization. Even when I have laundry going I put a basket in the hall so I have to walk around it and that reminds me to do the laundry 😂
