I fell the same way. Also the reason the Sharon Miller era wasn't very good is because they put no effort into writing them. They didn't care if the series was good or anything because the only reason the series is still around is for the toys. Which is unlike Andrew Brenner. Once he came along and Arc took over, the series has finally gotten back to its good side.

@Nichole The Otter Thomas and the Magic Railroad technically started that.
I think it is cool that the Miller era was able to end higher than it had become, ut I really am happy for the Brenner era - since it has all that charm that I grew up with in the earlier season. Characters had that depth, there was something kinda resembling accuracy with railroad ops, characters that hadn't been seen in years are not only back, but have the kind of depth they had when Brenner was last working on the series, the music has gone from good to amazing (like, for example, that positively eargasmic Donald and Douglas theme in "Love Me Tender")... I am actually not ashamed to say I have fallen in love with the series again, having grown up with the originals (reruns of seasons 1 and 2 - both George Carlin and Ringo Starr narrated), and was toddler aged when Season 3 came out.

Speaking of the three strikes formula of the Sharon Miller Era, WordWorld had 3 episodes that use that formula. The episodes were Pig’s Big Moonlight Feast, Mail Mix Up and Sandbox Surprise which is the episode that ended WordWorld on a terrible note. Oh yeah. Also Duck acts like Thomas’s seasons 12-16 self in these episodes. Oh joy.
Lets face it, Michael Angelis has more power in narration in CGI

When he said “moving one from season 15” an ad played for Popeyes chicken nuggets
My opinion on Day of the Diesels is a positive one. Let me explain: Sure it does use that Steamies vs Diesels plot, but the fact that the Diesels actually act in an, albeit less strong, aggressive manner by capturing Thomas and Kevin (essentially leaving them to die by the fire) and the taking over of the Steamworks. And it does work in Diesel 10's favor to be aggressive, we've seen it since TATMR and that little tease at the end of MIR, and why shouldn't he be aggressive? That claw of his could easily scare anyone, especially in the CGI series, where he can move it like a mechanical jaw. Jeez, that is definitely a little bit creepy and a little frightening. Anyway that's my ten cents on that.

ThomasFan 2623 the only thing I don't like about DotD and just the diesels in general, is the voice actors. I get it's a kid show, but the diesels voices are so high pitched they make me want to burst out laughing. They're supposed to be intimidating but they just sound like a bunch of girls

@SudrianShenanigans

@@cdangelo1843 I've never once believed it was going to be any darker than it actually was (which for a Thomas film is shockingly dark with all of Diesel 10's manipulation and Percy being convinced, by what can only be described as a groomer, that he belongs with this group of bullies to say the least in a plot to overthrow the status quo). The dark cut is probably just a fandom lie we told ourselves because the movie's more meh than we thought it would be.

"That's right" Reminds me of that guy Chamberlain from The dark Crystal when he would always say "hmm"
I wish Ferdinand would say that’s right once or twice but if it’s used too many times it becomes annoying
Thomas and The Magic Railroad had more sense than Day of the Diesels.

Hero of the rails came out when I was four jeez Great video also & the engines personallies changed but my question is why?

To be honest, I stopped watching Thomas when they went to CGI. It just creeped me out, and I was your age when it happened. I didn’t really watch a lot of the Miller Era, until I was 16. I watched the later seasons that people had put hear on KZread. The new series that is out now after BWBA, is a bit meh. In my opinion, The series had become very between average between 8-12 so CGI was a breath of fresh air. I was 10 when Hero of the Rails came out and i thouroughly enjoyed it. And that was pretty much it. 13 went back to the rating of 'meh'. If you remove all of the crap, Misty Island Rescue could jusr about be deemed average. 14 again was 'meh' before we agian get a very average Day of the Diesels. And at the age of 13 i gave up. It was only because i got BMM for DVD unexpectedly for Christmas that i didnt give TTE up entirely. From then on ive been very on and off, occasionally watching the series on KZread every now and again. Not as big a part of my life as it used to be, but not forgotten.
