I grew up with weave. Im 23 now and have been completely natural for 3 or 4 years now and i never realized how insecure i was with any type of weave. I couldnt take myself seriously with a fake piece of hair on my head..💯🤣 so why would anybody else? Thats how i genuinely feel

😂 I've never seen it that way. But I guess because it's so normal, we don't see it as "a fake piece of hair on our heads". People think toupees look silly, but wigs are the same thing.
Thank you for sharing! Your journey has been inspiring for me. I’ve been natural for 10 years and still haven’t reached my hair growth goals because I was doing too much. Focused on simplicity now in hopes that it leads to growth.

I Guess Just Ask The Salon To Flat Iron Your Hair Or A "Soft Press" Instead Of A "Silk Press" 🤷🏾♀️ Not Sure If They Will Do It.

I completely agree with you on being gentle with your hair 🙌🏿 Men nou lou pafwa petit😂 I have locs and noticed when I’m gentle with my hair assess how it grows, what I put in it, &!not washing as much it grows healthier 😆 Dubai will be very HOT 🥵 I don’t blame you for going back to a protective style.

Thanks Saquiah! I did I top bun without using a scrunchy. This allowed my hair to keep it's volume without having a dent.
What products are you using? Do you use grease?
First one here!!!!!your hair is GORG! I’m struggling with my second attempt at being natural and my texture has changed.I’m thinking due to age too 😫
