    I feel like he made that post to announce he's single & ready to mingle with his followers. He's such 🤡🤡🤡. Repeatedly cheating on someone is a form of abuse. He's exploiting the "Halo Affect" he has to the fullest. He's just gross. Stop following toxic partners down their road to chaos, and excusing their behavior. I hope his wife gets some intensive therapy so she can deprogram her mind after being gaslit by him for so long. She's giving Stockholm syndrome in her videos.

    The man CLEARLY was never gonna stop cheating and if he ever cared for her at any point in the past, he clearly did not care for her at ALL by the time they dropped that first video together. I really feel for Da'naia, considering they got together SO young and spent all of her formative young adult years trying to please him, and I hope she can find a path to healing out from under a man dedicated to causing her nonstop trauma.

    @@nikicarrie4071 I don’t think that’s true, since Da’naia shared some pics of them when they were first together a while ago, and I wouldn’t call him fat. He wasn’t always as fit as he has been for his online content. Also not sure how that would make a difference either way! From reading about her experiences (through her eyes) to me it sounds like he never actually treated her well.

    @@joannamarieart yea I haven't found any fat pictures. The reason it's relevant is bc if it was true, he would gave been with with her when no other would want him , then after he got fit ,switched up. Which he did in a financial impact anyway....

  • @joannamarieart

    @joannamarieart

    Жыл бұрын

    @@nikicarrie4071 Oh I see, yeah that makes sense. Though from what I read from Da'naia, she always viewed him as a prize and felt like she had to measure up to other women all throughout their relationship, not just with the recent cheating stuff. To me this all seems more like he was never really that great, but she didn't know how to really recognize the red flags early on, and also was too invested in her being the one he picked to see what a loser he was. Of course, I'm sure it all got much worse once he gained internet fame and a massive fanbase of thirsty women :P

    Girl, my hair is a nightmare, has been for over 5+ yrs now, even I know my hair is not 4c. In fact my hair is 2c - 3c, plenty of tighter curled sisters see my hair and think it's easy to care for because it's looser texture. It's as you said a lot of the "making my 4c hair better" videos, are just an attack on 4c hair. I genuinely think as black people our community does not understand that not all unmanageable hair = 4c, and not all manageable hair ≠ 4c. I feel like as a community there is a lot we don't understand about our hair, and we're coming into realization that, everyone's hair is different you just have to find what works for you. Problem is some of us don't have the patience to figure it out; as I said I've been on at least a 5 year journey now, still haven't found what works, besides leaving my hair alone, which results in dreads, maybe I really need to loc my hair, but I don't like the permanence of locs.

  • @-_Somebody_

    @-_Somebody_

    Are you me? I have the same hair situation. My edges are 2c, but the middle of my scalp is a 3c. Although I have looser curls than a 4c texture, I have had to deal with exactly how to style my hair so that it wouldn’t look uneaven. It used to be a point of insecurity for me until January of 2015 when I decided to loc my hair and I’ve been happy ever since. It’s so versatile and I get a lot of compliments.

I'm not saying all gurus are liars, but the more financial stake they have in getting you to believe them, the more inducement they have to tell you whatever you want to hear to make you buy. It’s not recommended to get braided styles or manipulate the hair too much so while convenient it wasn’t as creative as me. Eventually I did a big chop and now my natural 4c hair is shoulder length. I’m about to start optometry school so maybe I’ll get it again 😂🤷🏽‍♀️ I consider myself neutral towards my hair, it’s just hair and will grow back!

    A texture release is kin to a Brazilian/Keratin Blowout. It’s temporary if the heat temperature remains under 400 deg. It’s not permanent like a relaxer or perm. They have been much more popular in the UK where formaldehyde products (keratin blowouts) are prohibited.

    Thank you Ti 💓 I noticed the picture too and how odd it was for him to have chosen it for the divorce announcement. I feel like he is subliminally advertising for a new shapely BBW since he apparently likes variety and has no intentions of monogamy . Just my theory . That man has run her into the ground and she made her IG private so she must but taking a step back. Regarding the texture release I saw it last month or so and looked it up. It’s apparently a straightening treatment that isn’t permanent but is some sort of amino acid that leaves your hair straighter longer than a silk press but it will revert….eventually. I don’t know why it seems to only be available in the UK or if the seven passes of flat iron it requires to work according to the manufactures website (Avlon) scared me …and yes I am a 4C natural who remembers why your channel is named what it is ❤️

    Hi Ti, serial lurker here. Just wanted to elucidate on the texture release as I've been doing it on my hair for the past 2 years. It's actually a brand name for a treatment from Avlon and as far as I know it's been on the market for about 10 years. Definitely not a relaxer and can't say it's a texlax either. It's a sort of keratin treatment but quite different from the keratin treatments I've come across where I live, in which they permanently straighten your hair. The avlon texture release does loosen curls a bit (therefore elongating), reduces frizz and volume and makes life hella easy with detangling when its fresh in your hair + I find my hair can actually hold a style for longer with a lot less product than before, and as I have low porosity hair that easily gets gunked up with product, it has changed my relationship with my hair at a time when I was on a second attempt to grow out a pixie and go natural, after over 15 years with relaxers. Yikes. It's definitely not for everyone but for those who want to decrease volume, have dense hair, are dealing with a lot of freeze and have issues with moisture retention, it's a treatment that from my personal experience is quite unique. I know it can also be suitable for people who straighten/blow dry their hair a lot as the hair doesn't frizz as easily after you get it done, but I consistently wear my hair curly. Problem is, most videos you'll see about it on social media would be straight out of the salon, after the hair is straightened. Not a lot of people follow up and post the results after they wash their hair a week (or more) later, but you can still find a few who do on YT. The curls are still there, and the treatment does wash off with time. I have low porosity, extremely dense 3c-3b hair, and after 2 years of getting it done I've not experienced breakage, or losing my curls. Just putting it out there, in case anybody is curious and wants to look some of it up for themselves.

    Thanks for this info! I had never heard of a texture release before. I was just thinking, man...if only there was something out there that could decrease volume/density. I figured that was a pipe dream since everyone seems to want gigantic, lioness hair.
