Candy Flores You may be right about it being a cultural thing, but then what happens when people marry into other cultures and migrate? I like what Ms. E said about every child being different and raising them accordingly. If a parent sees that a child's confidence is diminishing they need to lay off of the vicious truth and work on building their confidence. Honestly I've seen adults suffering from chronic depression because their parents verbally abused them to 'bring them down a peg or two'.

I laughed at the "Tri- Towa- Tra-" part. My grandma calls me by my aunt or cousins' name. My aunt mixes up her kids names too (All Ms) that's why you don't make them all start with the same letter.

Mrs. Evelyn is a wise woman. In my expirience kids are different from the womb lol! They are so different from each other that my dynamic and strategies with them are different or individualized. I could never love one more then the other because true unconditional love can NOT be measured. You may relate to one more then the other at times because that's were the compatibility of personalities comes in place. That's it

All these mothers have favorites, but when the mother gets sick, who takes care of them? Hmmmm.

Yes Jeannie! Try Tamar. She was egging Loni on to try you when your mum was on the show. Asking if she wanted you to have children... I find Mama Evelyn so funny, beautiful and elegant. Every time I see her I think of the BFV episode where Towanda set her up with a twenty-something year old guy and Mama Evelyn wiped the milk from behind his ears!

Soo cute, MS. Evelyn trying to not laugh in Jeannie's face about mamma mai. Loni I know the feeling, me and my sister KNOW my brother is the apple of my mom's eye. Me and sister called my brother the golden calf.

Tamar's mom is a good example with not having favorites and raising all her children uniquely with whatever individual needs they had.

Mama Mai is just like my mom so I can always relate to Jeannie. Foreign parents and their honesty give a new meaning to REAL.

Tamar's mom is awesome and she looks great. I don't think it right for parents to have favorite children. Each of your kids have strengths and weaknesses and you just have to work with it and make your kids feel special no matter what.

I understand Jeannie, Tamara and Loni... I have an older brother too, he is 16 years older than me, and all my mom do everytime she gets mad at me, she tells me these things: "your brother didnt talked back at me ever", "I had never had this type of problems with your brother"," your brother was an excelent student at school", "your brother was always respectful to me unlike you" ugghhh

The interesting part is that she is the youngest. They say the youngest is sheltered and given the most attention, which the other sisters also expressed the same in their reality show: "Tamar being the youngest was babied the most." Tamar girl you're late 30s but forever 16 in the way you speak and behave. It's fun at times, fun girl, but losss, I would expect more maturity than teen like behaviour. But I guess to each their own.
