It's such a great feeling when you can hone in what you want to read rather than what everyone else is saying is good. I've been an avid reader for more than 30 years and it wasn't until the pandemic that I started listening to myself. Somehow I've avoided getting into a book slump because of that listening. . . . It’s such an easy read!

The game is probably Stardew Valley!!! Shawnaci it is THE cozy game. It's so much fun and so so cute. You get to have a little farm and fall in love and everything! Another fantastic cozy game-Lake. SO GOOD.

The promises of god series by Kim Cash Tate. I was in a book slump and i defiantly do not prefer series. But after reading the first book I was hooked. I'm on the third book now and I'm mad because I have the work and do other things and can't continue reading.

June was not a good reading month for me 😅 The only good book I read was Leather and Lark by Brynne Weaver. I know you didn’t care much for Butcher and Blackbird so you should probably steer clear of that one 🤣

@@ShawnaciSchroeder oddly enough I liked book 2. Book 1 was better. But I liked getting the older brother’s story and the bff’s story in book 2. BUT, the whole reasoning behind them needing to fake date?? 🤔 like ultimately it wasn’t even about them! Like they got caught up in someone else’s bs. Look lemme stop bc I’m not trying to give spoilers 😂 I liked it. I just had to overlook that plot issue 😂

Worst read of June: A Court of Thorns and Roses 😭 proof that just because people rave about a book, doesn’t mean you’ll enjoy it!! I think it’s all hype 😪
