I was going to say the same thing. Iykyk perfect youthful skin doesn’t last, it’s part of life.

She will NOT be doing this until she's 100. I'm 35, and I've tried this twice. Every single time, it gets stuck in the under-eye wrinkles that I barely have, and it makes me LOOK 100.

Girly I love you! I personally don’t like wearing that much makeup on MY FACE but on other people it looks AMAZING and I totally love and idolize how you stand up for what you want and like to do with your own self!

Girly literally you’re probably the only influencer that I trust. After Mascara-gate I stopped watching Mikayla and unsubscribed from her channel. Literally watched her for like less than a month and I had finally found an influencer who promotes body positivity and then Mascara -gate happened 💀

No, jealousy and misogyny are not the only reasons for people to not like the content, or to think she isn't honest. I don't think she's lying, and that's a weird conclusion, since she has so much makeup caked on. This is just a ridiculous amount of makeup, and that's a valid reason to not like the content.

I think the reason her foundation looks so well even when she piles a lot is because she has such nice skin and it makes a difference to it looking well in natural lighting as oppose to having textured skin. I feel like this technique would only work well for those with no texture

When she said try it so I did and I have never looked worse but I’m happy it works for her, I’m just going to stick to natural makeup It was just too much and too heavy for me personally For context, I copied the routine exactly, I looked like a cakey mess... It was heavy and too much for me and that's coming from someone who does theatre and dance so does a lot of make-up at times

You are beautiful and who cares what anyone thinks about your foundation. You can do your foundation that way until you are 100 if you want (you probably will want to make adjustments as your skin changes as you age) but regardless of if you ever want to change how you do it or not you have the right to do whatever makes you feel good. Idk why ppl are so worried about it. Its not their face it's yours and its just makeup. It washes off. Keep having fun and doing what feels good for you!😊
