Him being underwhelming feeds into the narrative of the devs hating/not caring about Vegeta. That's where most of the outrage comes from. Fans of the character waited years for him to get a standalone unit and a premium release... Waiting so long for THIS is very disappointing.

I think him being SSJ is what ultimately made this Vegeta mid. Every SSJ unit is susceptible to underwhelming due to a certain unit's support buffs. It's very sad to see Super Vegeta be another one of his victims.

This never made sense since we had several mid-releases that weren’t Super Saiyans. So why is Bardock always blamed for mid-Super Saiyans, especially when Super Saiyans had great releases like USG, USV, and New Namek Goku when he released. Heat Dome Trunks is consider a great Zenkai and he’s a Super Saiyan.

Lmao I don’t think I remember the last time where Goresh had to genuinely sit down and just discuss a mid unit. Shit tragic 🙏🏾

I remember I responded to you on Twitter saying I wish you made a video just talking about units after the showcases so we knew what you really thought of them after a while. I'd get whiplash with units like Red Majunior who in all your videos you had good to middling things to say, and then you'd just start dunking on him outta nowhere. I am still beyond confused why Heatdome Trunks Zenkai buffs Red Hybrids, that was such a blunder. It REALLY just shows how low Vegeta is on their priorities in comparison to someone like Goku or Android 17 or in this case Gohan (Red Beast was doing just fine, he didn’t need another buff) 😔

Thank you I really hope he gets a buff like Gofrieza or at the very least a unique I can tell you what he needs 1.higher defense, he has to stay in the field to fill his gauge but you can’t take hits to stay on the field 2. Draw a card or 2 when his gauge fills, half the time I can’t even make use of the full gauge because I’m out of cards

GoFrieza's buff was a 1 time thing they obviously said that in the announcement before it was implemented and he's most def not getting a Plat soon as he drops as much I want the vegeta to be good they just butchered him with his kit alone

I honestly think he can get by with how they treated Ultra broly. They gave that guy what like 150% ki recovery? This form is all about huge bulky powerups so why not simply at like -5 costs and like 80% ki recovery and boom he’s worth it

The devs probably won’t do this because 1. Super Vegeta isn’t a major celebration headliner like GF were 2. They just straight up hate Vegeta But we need to petition or smth of the sort to get this man buffed.

LF Super Vegeta is very dependent on his Unique Gauge, without it he's extremely mediocre. His lack of ki recovery and arts cost reduction REALLY damages his combo potential.

The only fix his kit needs is just when gauge is full spawns a green card and the green card resets the gauge.

@@maurice963well, when he was released directly after the best unit in the game, he should’ve been better. He doesn’t even come close to Super 17. I personally love the unit because he’s Vegeta, but he should’ve been better. Some simple like cost reduction in cards for every card used or even some better damage reduction would make him better. Im doing just fine with him in pvp but he should’ve been better. That simple.

I greatly appreciate your thoughts on this character and Vegeta Clan as a whole. I really wish they would nerf SSJ Bardock already so we can have Super Saiyan characters that aren't broken with crits. Then they could have made Super Vegeta potentially a decent amount better.

Exactly! You’ve seen almost no Super Vegeta’s in PvP. That was my biggest point against him. Super 17 was everywhere within a few hours.

He needs the G4 treatment a plat 5 days after coming out

He reminds me alot of the old Lf purple cell, cell was good with his gauge but getting his gauge was a massive problem so they are kinda similar

Nope, biggest fix which is a simple fix that a plat or even a tiny balance change can do. "Once gauge is filled draw a green card" And have green cards reset gauge.

As a vegeta fan ,I can agree that vegeta clan needs a good solo vegeta unit to rock the meta, or at least compete with the best that's out now

Could you imagine we get a unique equip for Vegeta by the end of this campaign

Me personally I haven’t obtained Super Vegeta, but if I were to upgrade his kit: I would give him a baseline cost reduction of -15 to arts cost at battle start, permanent +40 to ki recovery and an extra +20 permanently after one charge of the unique gauge, and as a little extra give him permanent changes to green card effects (draw 3 cards when 3 or fewer, 10 counts cover change null and card draw to reach the unique gauge fill) or increased unique gauge charge rate after one charge and just additional cards drawn on the green and a short cover change null… minimal changes but enough to work with during battles

For a character to tank in todays meta, he either needs healing in cards sustained + good defensive stats, or we are gonna start seeing 80% reduced damgae recieved for it to show dramitically. I used to want it to be like that, but think of how many matches already go to timer today. Adding tanks to the game would just compound that.

I think the reason they didn’t give him Ki recovery is because they hopped people were going to run him with Bulla and she gives an abundant amount of Ki Recovery which also doesn’t make sense because she dropped with a character like Super 17 with OP Ki mechanics and just doesn’t need anymore help.
