Nigeria team didn't win afcon because there was no tactical plan outside of defending. Our positioning was very vulnerable especially around the midfield which exposed iwobi because there was too much space to cover. This is just my belief and it made me lose faith in the coach.

Iwobi getting so much blame was unfair. One of the only players we had that was comfy on the ball and tried to progress play. In the final against Ivory Coast we were outplayed from start to finish and that’s not on iwobi. Look at how iwobi has played with Fulham since afcon ended.
