Different crops take different amounts of time, but in your Sims garden, anything that is ready will pop up at 5am to about 5:15am. If you are not on the lot, the plants won't do anything.

Don't uproot plants it just destroys them.

You could have gone fishing, sold the fish to Kim at the veggie stall in the village, and bought some things to plant.

That's true, although according to the challenge I was only allowed to make money through gardening/flower arranging. But this is a great method too!

@@AmsterdaMary As far as I am concerned, once the seeds etc in the starter box disappeared, you could have gotten 3-4 items that way without judgement since those seeds etc weren't gotten via gardening or flower arranging. You had to do something to get started.

You are trying to repair something in the rain. Rain breaks electronics that are outside.

12:55, that is not a residential lot. The building is a shed, it is supposed to be a community garden, but community gardens in the game are still bugged and they don't work sometimes. Other sims are supposed to plant, but often do not, sometimes your sim cannot interact with what is in them etc, even if they planted it. The gardening in the science career is messed up too...

Oh that's cool to know! It worked out fine in the end, once we had our own crops, and the idea is cute, even if it's bugged. haha

Where is his tent and cooler? Doesn't everyone start with those items?

That's true, however, I don't think I have the packs that come with those items. (is it jungle adventure?) I don't mind it too much, adds a little extra challenge to the game. Deligracy mentioned we are free to improvise with base game options, if we are missing skills/packs.

I saw in Deligracy's 2d episode that this happened to a lot of people, indeed. It actually made for a funny improvised start though. 😂
