The Scalloped ID Card Holder by Rosie & David Patterns is a cute, fast and fun project! It is designed to be made with vinyl that you can cut using an SVG file for the Cricut Maker. It has two ID windows on the inside and closes with a Kamsnap. This is a great item for selling at craft shows. You can use yours to carry your ID and it is a great way to present a gift card to someone special. The vinyl used in the video if from the Plaid Bow Co. Below you will find a link to the SVG file for cutting on the Cricut Maker. Please note that the SVG file has only been tested on the Cricut Maker, but feel free to give the file a try on other platforms. The SVG file has a 2” Test Square that you can use to help you ensure the file loaded onto your platform at the correct size. Very nice project, but need to remind us to resize to correct size before cutting. First time came out miniature, had to resize all.
Rosie, thank you so much for this video and the SVG file. I’m going to be participating in my first craft show and need small items. This may be one of them! I like my Cricut but have not used it a lot. Would love to see more projects like this. Thanks again!!

Thank you for this tutorial! I was trying to download the file, but when I click on the blue bar, it just shows me a picture and does not download. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!!

Rosie, when I go to download the SVG file, it takes me to a website. I am using an iPad Pro. Design space cannot seem to find it when I download to my Files. Does this need to be converted to an SVG? Any suggestions? Thank you.

The link for the SVG file should take you directly to the blog post on my website where the file is. Find the blue banner on the blog post to download the SVG. It is already in the SVG format, so you do not need to convert the file, but you may need to unzip it. Then you can save it to your files on your iPad. I hope this helps.
