Hi Britt! I’ve bene following you for some months now, but I never commented any of your videos, since I’m really lazy for that 😂plus, I’m often watching KZread while I’m doing housework. Self care is now (fortunately) a popular concept and a lot of KZreadrs and influencers talk about it, and I love how inspiring it is. But normalising things such as going to the restaurant or to a concert alone is very important, because it’s still considered by most people “strange” or unusual. I went maybe once or twice to the cinema alone, and it wasn’t that strange. Now I’m engaged and I always go with my boyfriend; we have lived in symbiosis for the first months of our relationship, since I realised I needed to get that time for myself back. I think it’s really important to spend some healthy time alone, even just sitting there at the window while sipping coffee or going to buy some groceries without having to talk to or question anyone. Thanks for showing this 🥰

You crying for Ukraine and saying how messed up it was really got to me. Thank you for being such an amazing, inspiring person who reminds me to treat myself and be gentle with myself no matter what is going on in this crazy world 🌺🌸🌻

going to a cafe alone and just reading and drinking coffee really helped me feel less anxious when i am out and romanticize my life more. i would like to go to cinema alone next, hopefully i will be able to do it soon🌻

Taking myself on a date can be really scary sometimes. I learned to go to theaters, cinemas and concerts on my own and it's amazing! However, I'm still too scared to take myself to a reastaurant. 😀 Haha, I have the opposite problem - I'm way too short (4 ft 10 in) and I still have hard times accepting it... 😀 Anyway, what a great video, thanks! :-)

Watching this from my hospital bed and it is calming my rough nerves. I badly broke my leg last Sunday night so have been here a whole week. I've currently lost interest in most things because the pain is strong but this video brought me joy. I had to watch it in pieces but made it through. Your voice is calming and your salad encouraged me to get a salad as well. Thank you for the beautiful video and the peacefulness that all your videos bring

Have you heard of the Danish musician Agnes Obel ? Shes an amazing piano player and singer, very ethereal kind of music. Songs like Fuel To Fire and Riverside would be great examples of her work. I’m seeing her live this later year, i looked and shes got dates in Netherlands.

I think this is my favorite vlog! So happy you were able to get a last minute concert ticket. ❤️ what a lovely couple of days. (Side note: one of my dear friends is tall and she loves it. I find it easy to have coffee or lunch by myself. But I find going out to dinner more tricky. I try to find a place were you can eat at a bar or counter, of sometimes they have a type of bar/table along the window. Sitting on a table with nobody across from my I find a bit awkward. Very good that you did it. Very brave!
