I couldn't even get it mixed, colorants, etc. added, and poured into my molds in just ten minutes. After all, patience IS something very valuable in life! This instant gratification is not good for society. It's up to us adults to teach the next generation that they need to love life, not to just push it by so fast they lose the enjoyment of the moment.

Polyurethane Resin works great for projects you want to paint afterwards. Such as figurines, or for casting parts for repair jobs. Although not new to the market, glad to see Let's Resin offering it now. Alumilite has carried it for years.

I think if you want color you're going to have to mix it into one part first before adding the second part, keeping in mind it's going to end up pastel in the end and adjusting accordingly. Would probably work best in dusted molds. Let's Resin has a metallic flake that you can dust molds with that might work well with this, though regular leafing foils should work too. Mix for no more than two minutes. Pressure pot is probably best to use with it. Metallic or Posca pens might work on the back for jewellery pieces. Lots of options for quick projects! 😁👍

You need to watch Claire's Crafty Corner. She used this and did it with alcohol inks. First she dropped the inks in the mold the poured the poly in it and they came out cute with the colors. Then she mixed the alcohol inks in the poly and those molds turned out really cute. Mix time is 30 seconds and working time is 2 minutes. You really need to see her video in case I missed anything

Still it's really cool thanks for sharing❤ like the other lady said Aluminite has carried for years. And I think she's right with it being so opaque. This would be the kind of thing that he would paint afterwards like plasterparis figurine. That would probably really be cool to get rid of the white

I finally found a safe resin that doesn’t cause me problems health wise. It is heat resistant and food safe but I only get 20 minutes to work with it. The first time had 12 coasters, two trivets and four paintings. It taught me not to do that again. I now mix up smaller amounts and do less things. I think I would like your dish to put little guest soaps in like flowers and hearts. Thank you Sherry.❤

@Linda O Keep in mind, NO resin is guaranteed "safe" if additions are made to the mix: pigments, powders, pastes, etc., as they have not been factory-tested for that. However, I have not found any reports that cite resin toxicity IF the resin is properly cured and UNUSED for 1 month after demolding.

I love using pu resin. The black is great with chameleon powders and the white with ghost powders. It is better to work in smaller batches, or it overheats and turns into a solid block of poop - as you demonstrated! I also did the same when i first tried it and mixed up too much and for too long. With the one i use, It only takes around 30 - 50 seconds to mix. Great for many things, especially thinner items like bookmarks as they cure solid. Thank you for sharing x

Hi, you don't need to warm it up. I use pu resin in the cold weather, as my flat is too cold for epoxy to cure. It's really great stuff, as long as you have everything prepared, so you can pour straight after mixing. It's hard to get used to epoxy resin again after using pu resin for the past months. If you get a chance to buy some, it's definitely worth trying. Quick to mix, quick to cure, and not a micro bubble in sight ❤
