Thanks for the video blackjack. I was watching the video this evening when I had just gotten all my painting bits out on the table, I was taken by the game and decided to play my first solo game immediately! I just finished the game (I used your a scenario idea) and was able to beat the walkers. I really enjoyed the game so thanks again for inspiring me yet again :-)

Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing Ace Garp - means a lot. Yeah it takes a little time setting everything up so it looks right on camera but it's always fun to play the game. The editing of it all takes WAY more time than I imagined but I'm getting better and faster at it with each new video 👍🏼

Great Vid. love the board too - I enjoyed your vid on how that was made! Just started playing this, so I may have misunderstood the rules - at 45:30-ish you chose to move Shane for his second action. Could you have tried to reduce the Threat level (dropping it to Medium from High if successful), and therefore stopped Lori and Dale from having to make panic checks?

Very useful gameplay and a great solo scenario design, thank you very much BlackJack! Did you see what happened with the Threat wheel at min. 10.11? :-))

Interesting Battle Report. Certainly helps to get the rules into my head.

Thanks again Darren. Its one of very few games I really enjoy playing solo. Its like the walker movement is predictable but even then you still need to get around them at times. Its a great game.

Thanks for the reply mate. This is my 1st war game, I'm into table top RPGs. There's a rpg game called All Flesh Must Be Eaten which is mainly a 1 game playthrough, but with plenty of ideas I've turned it into a 16 week (4hrs a week) campaign, with still loads to do with it. That's why I know I can turn this amazing game into an enjoyable campaign once I get more characters, cards and props etc.

Hi, just picked this up recently and enjoying solo play. I have a few ideas myself but any more custom solo scenarios coming?? I'll be investing in the days gone bye expansion as I'm told it adds more solo play. Finding it tricky to gauge the difficulty of my solo scenarios, but I guess that comes with play testing.

Thanks Jirhon. The cars and grey trucks are part of Mantics Walking Dead scenery booster (I got them with the kickstarter) and the red truck through the window is from Mantics Mars Attacks. The scale to look for is about1:49 to 1:53 but can vary between manufacturers.

Yes I'm a little late to the party but as I am sitting here waiting for my TWD:AOW to arrive in the mail I am looking at how to play vids. Enjoyed this walkthrough but would like to get some clarification from you of one point. At 31:00 mins into the game you draw the Pandemonium card which at any threat level lets you move the walkers in ANY direction of your choice, you then move them towards Shane and even into contact with Shane. Surely this is the time to make the best use of clearing your path to objectives, and if playing against another player, move the walkers towards the other players characters, or is this something to do with the solo play part of the rules. I am hoping even after all this time you will still be able to answer this.....Cheers.

Hey there, never late to the party for an awesome game! I had to watch this back to check and you're completely right! I guess the pressure of trying to play, film and chat meant I just went into auto pilot and moved them towards rather than away! Its a great way to attract them to your opponant when playing 2 player however!Thanks for watching and pointing this out. I'm actually playing TWD this evening so will remember to play it right :)

Great video and cool board. Enjoyed that a lot - i have the game now and I was hoping you could explain what happened at 42:00. Laurie is attacked by 2 walkers and they rolled a bite - did she cancel that by rolling a headshot?

Hi Der Inselaffe. Thanks for watching and commenting. What happened was the walkers beat Laurie. They had 4 plus bite and she had 3 plus headshot however Laurie had picked up the Football pads (35:18 to watch again) and this meant she reduced damage taken by 1 point. This meant it was a tie 3 each. In a tie the survivor always wins. Hope that explains it :)

I'm just wondering since I don't know the rules. But if you use a handgun in melee as Shane did at around 15:30. Shouldn't that cause mayhem as well, raise the threat, and cause all walkers within 10" to come shambling?

@@BlackJackLegacy we all make em.. sometimes the simplest of things. A few days back i played nemesis on the tabletop simulator. First half we managed to do most rules right after half we somehow managed to mess to turn system up so the game went twice as fast 😄. We won though but it could have gone better 😊

I asked the members of my Facebook group if they preferred one long video or split into two - they said they liked it as one video as they'd watch while painting so that's what I did but I do appreciate your feedback. My blue die doesn't have any blanks. 2 x 1's, 3 x 2's and 1 x 3 with headshot.

BlackJack Legacy - I preferre one long video over two split, the pace of the game was a little slow, it was a first game and a "how to play", so was not bad, just hoping a next game is a little faster, 10ish minuts shorter. @blue die, good, it just looked blanked at one time. (My blue dice dont got blanks)

I checked one of my blue dice when you asked and there was no blanks however I've checked the other one and it has a 1 missing! Bonus points for spotting that!! Looks like I need to speak to Mantic :)

You can play this with just the core box Shane.

Get the first expansion, “Days Gone By” together with the Core Box. As the core box has only one scenario to play with, but the expansion adds six more scenarios.

Just starting the video. The audio is quite low. I'm watching it on my tv and I usually watch movies at 30 at the loudest and I'm at 55 to have a decent volume.

Finished it. I really like this, and your setup is great (audio aside needs to be louder if you can). I'd like to see you do some player vs player if you have someone that can join.

Thanks for your comments Shoppeross. Yeah I had a bit of a nightmare when my normal audio file from the mic corrupted when I got to editing and I had to use the backup audio from the dice cam! Wont happen again. Next on my list is PvP so should see one up in the near future.

Is there any way to keep playing beyond the highest threat level, so the game doesn't abruptly end?

You can choose to ignore it! To be honest though that’s what drives a lot of the game and you trying to control it by trying to reduce the threat level, or work faster is part of the fun.
