Milton's path to creating this world, starting with very basic shapes and then adding people and details and then interacting with the people that he (presumably) created and so forth, seems very, very similar to Lewis's daydreams. Clearly the whole Finch family had similarly overactive imaginations, which I suppose we also see exhibited in their sister, since all the weird storytelling moments in the second game are presumably Edith's imagination running wild based on the stories she discovers. And then there's Molly and Edie and the kid who flew off the cliff (Calvin?) and the guy who got hit by a train whose name I can't remember... in reality, I'd say what kills the Finches is less a curse and more their own incredibly rich imagination.

cvrc11 wow... im so interested in the finches family history that im trying to understand, while you helped me there a lot :D also i would love to see a game based of ediths son, where he goes through the house and finds the secrets. Sorry for bad spelling

@@mikolajalfut9627 That would be cool if he discovered details that were missed or something. It would even be cool if he found the missing character. I know people with mental disorders can wander off.

Point of order! The crown was not on Milton's grave, it was on the grave of the fish cuter. Which is morbidly ironic since he killed himself imagining that he's being crowned.

That "fish cutter" is actually Milton's brother Lewis.

Really interesting thought about Dawn's home schooling and escapism. Don't know if it has anything to do with her actual teaching, but I suddenly realized that Dawn herself was kinda doing what Lewis was doing but in real life. She was travelling around doing missionary work, travelling from place to place making them better (according to her world view at least) and becoming beloved by the locals. Quite the parallell actually!

It just hit me that in Milton's bedroom, there were orange footprints, just like in this game.

Orange footprints are orange footprints. A similar element. Obviously. Who made those footprints is secondary.

I came from someone else’s Edith Finch video and honestly. Your style is exactly what I look for. I can’t stand these popular people who need to scream when they play. But I like some commentary. Like you have such a nice voice haha. And you talk perfectly enough.

It is not surprising to me that you decided to go on this journey after completing Edith's story to seek out Milton Finch. You will soon see that this story is one of.....inheritance and imagination. Paint your path to creativity.

I still think that the reason people enjoy watching you play these types of games is because you enjoy playing them. People notice, whether consciously or subconsciously. That goes for any "let's player" and any genre. Of course there are games that are more interesting to watch than others, particularly those that viewers have any kind of investment in, but I also think that that fact is offset - at least to a point - by how much you enjoy them. A boring game can be very interesting to watch if someone is having fun playing that game. An interesting game can be very boring to watch if someone is not having fun.

It plays the same music as whenever you watch Miltons drawling as when you see the statue of the king or Milton

It's an Alicorn not a Pegasus. Unicorns have a horn no wings. Pegasus have wings and no horn. Alicorns have wings and a horn. But all in all I really enjoy watching your videos thank you for the great content.

Pegasus is the name of a winged horse, not a type of creature. That's like saying "nemo" instead of "clownfish" :P

Use of pegasus to refer to winged horses, in general, is well established in modern vernacular. I'm not sure when it originated, but it at least dates back to the works of Pliny the Elder.

Pegasus is a creature from Greek Mythology. Like Cerberus, for example. They are actual characters, not a race. I'm not denying what you wrote though, it's common for people to say "nemo" instead of "clownfish".

well i found you because i needed to look one puzzle on the talos priciple and after that i was hooked watching your videos especially puzzle ones by the way i am sure you know there is going to be the talos principle 2 looking forward you playing that and thank you for playing this like you said even tough this is not first time for you paying this so it would be even more fun to watch if you would experience this now for the first time.

The king not knowing how to deal with other people wanting things from him or what he does not being the best for all people and well just not thinking fully ahead fits with how old Milton would have been when he entered the painting.

also thinking about it Milton's parents were aid workers before his father died -- so they traveled to places helped rebuild/build then moved on

How do you save the game?? I was playing it a pressed quit and then realised that all my progress was gone :( .

Milton is the King not Monroe.

This game gave me motion sickness for the first time. I have to say, that it's a lot worse than you'd think.
