@@chrisseddon5823 I didn't read it negatively, it's a good characteristic not to take unimportant things too seriously. You can see the exact opposite end of that scale with some kids who can't handle losing and cheat or throw tantrums. Anyway if we're complaining about who we find annoying, I used to find Jon annoying but I've grown to like him more. Except when he's mean to Holly, I won't hear a bad word about Holly! >.< XD

Things you can do to increase the realism level: During speedport, have 5 people on a phone conference all asking for time estimates and progress reports. After every game, create a Visio drawing that meticulously documents every cable run and connection, then delete the file because no one is ever going to open the document again. Right when you are about to finish, have someone flip another card because they changed the design specs, even though you asked repeatedly if they are sure the design is final. After winning, have someone yell at you for an hour saying you obviously plugged the cables in wrong because they don’t see the connection coming up, only for them to suddenly realize they were watching someone else’s game from a different country.

Turn Clickport into Speedport, winner of Clickport must then make the cabling look neat removing all unneeded connections and keeping theirs active. Failure to do so in 2mins forfeits the win.

I'd love to see a House Rules edition of Speedport with 2 player teams, one player is blindfolded and plugs the the cables into the plugboard, the other player can see the plugboard and the solution card, but cannot touch the board or cables and has to guide the blindfolded player to where the cables have to go.

@@brianmathis5423well, that’s the main cam shot. I was talking about the top down cam as they usually set that to match the main cam view, not the player’s view. I agree though about the legs. if it were me, I’d either have a curtain or I’d have a board (held with with magnets so it can be taken off easily)

funny thing is, to combat having to play upside down all they have to do is play normally and just slap a vertical flip effect on the footage.

I feel like this was recorded on the same day as Decorum. Every move followed by "I love it!" or "I'm fine with it."

Yes, they moved about half a year ago from Draughts café and now the studio is in a basement somewhere.

@@KPTG119 Space mostly, the old studio was in a loft and the filming area barely had enough room for people to squeeze in. New studio is larger, can fit a larger gaming table and is easier to sit around.

The one issue that people are likely going to face with this game is that Ethernet cables aren't really meant or designed to be plugged and un-plugged over and over, which means the plastic tab that holds the cable in the port is going to snap off after a short while to due fatigue.

@@Brainreaver79 To be fair, you can buy colored ethernet cables from any electronic store for cheap, and they do come in many different colors. Because if someone had figured out how to make an RJ45 (the Ethernet cable plug) not break all the time, they sure haven't shared it with the industry that still just lives with the liability. It probably wouldn't have that nice feel anyway, can't have a piece of plastic clicking without it eventually giving in. Until then, 25cm (or about 10 inches) seems to be one of the standard lengths stores carry, so that should work for this game?

I don’t know if this is a locality thing but I’m in my 40s and I’ve never heard it referred to phonetically as a ‘nes’. We used to called it an N.E.S (or Nintendo back in the day when there was only one Nintendo lol). I’m in Aus, I’d be curious to know if other Australians have the same experience

I like this kind of game! Light enough on the rules and activity that you can still goof around and have fun, but also still enough of a puzzle that you have to pay attention.

Yes! They could do white, black, lengthwise stripes, and horizontal stripes like little rings. Idk what kinds of patterns ethernet cables come in already, but it'd be great if they could use an existing kind.

As an American, I was quite confused by Dom’s NES pronunciation (albeit enjoying Rosie’s pointing to her nose, because nez) - but I can’t be mad for long at our wonderful fearless leader ❤❤❤

If this shows anything, that 3 power is way too weak for 3, and powers should cycle after being used.

I was genuinely so happy for Dom when he won Clickport.

To be fair, I didn’t realize what Dom was talking about at first when he pronounced NES as a word instead of the letters, but as he can do no wrong, I blame my lack of understanding. 😂

First of all, I have to say I've played the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES game, both without the Game Genie and with it. It's equally impossible either way. The one thing you really need the Genie for is health during those swimming sections, because that stupid electric seaweed kills you so quickly... but, if you choose invulnerable, the seaweed stun locks you and you can't move on at all. So. Frustrating. Second, I clapped here at home when Dom got the first Clickport in the history of the world. That achievement is well deserved. Third, Dom's encouraging/disparaging words to himself during Speedport made that part of the video (without it, it's just a bunch of clicking noises, not particularly interesting to watch). Fourth, I almost cried with Blair when she finally won a card. Nice video, guys, well done!

You know this is a good game when Dom witnesses the grim reaper in the corner and Blair ends up sobbing
