The point of the game though is it’s up to the club holder to bonk them if they make a mistake. If they miss it, you get away with it. (It’s why it’s a great party game)

they were fine with wheel being one syllable, the same website they used that says real is 2 syllables says that wheel has 1. both words can have 1 or two, depends on dialect and even within the same speakers' usage is can differ with context and emphasis

It's true if you actually enunciate the word. Most people say "real" like it's a homophone for "reel", which is one syllable.

Laurie being more upbeat is killing it. Love him coming out of his shell a bit. Great job so far. And so happy to see sully back in action. I need Ken every episode. Freakin love this guy.

Very surprised and happy to see this game played. No matter how many deep, rich, interesting games I have, this game always comes back, known as Unga Bunga Bonk in my house Edit: Oh hey it's my chance to be That Rules Guy In The Comments™ for the first time! When you're the card reader and someone gets the word, you're allowed to say "Yes! [Word]", and then you're allowed to say that word when going for the 3 Points section. So if your word was "Menu" and the 3 point was "Breakfast Menu", once someone guesses Menu you can say "Yes, Menu. Now menu that you get at start of day" to get them to guess Breakfast Menu

I believe you are only allowed to do that if the word itself is only one syllable. Them getting the word voids the 'don't say the word on the card' rule. but doesn't void the 'only speak in one syllable rule' which is why menu wasn't allowed

@@JadeNeomaPerhaps? In the instruction manual, the example they use is "Octopus", and it shows a crudely drawn person going "Yes, Octopus!". That made me interpret it that you can now say that word no matter the syllables. Like it's a bunch of cavemen trying to remember a word, and once someone reminds them, it's added to their vocabulary. That's at least how I've played it Yes, I'm adding lore to Unga Bunga Bonk, apparently haha

THE NEW INTRO IS AMAZEBALLS! The artist did an impeccable job! Tom's in particular gave me a good chuckle, because in a home brew game of BOTC 'The Tom' token is represented by two trees, which he found rather amusing, and now here he's is decked out in a background of leaves. I loved all the jokes they did when players were silenced in don't mess with Cthulhu - "Brooke, say nothing if you want Sully to leave you for Adam", "Laurie, say nothing if you think all your Blood on the Clocktower losses were deserved", "Tom, say nothing if you hate trees"

Its so lush to see most of the cast back together! And the new intro is great, good work on whoever did that!

Haven't even watched the video yet, but LOVE the new intro sequence. The animation is excellent and love seeing the silhouettes of all the crew. It really adds a freshness and renewed quality to the show. And for me personally, it helped me forget that I was missing... anything.

NRB has really come into it's own with the new studio and the new animation package! It's amazing. I thought it was gonna be hard to get the same cozyness you got from the smaller space at draughts, but this video feels like the old ones.

Love the new table. The old one I'm sure is great for gaming with friends, but this one is perfect for youtube.

For those who aren't sure about syllables, a good rule of thumb I learned in teacher training: place your hand flat below your chin and say the word, however many times your chin hits your hand is the number of syllables. Not a perfect system but a pretty solid one. Try it!
