I feel like such a glutton watching these videos of someone else's play. I carry around a cooking pot the whole time and use food and teas constantly to remove burnt attributes and have all 3 regenning all the time. I never have the food and drink warnings because I'm always stuffing my face. Keep up the good work.

you know if you drink with Crock he will give you a power coil as long as you tell him to go fight Buroc if fact then if you kill the wendigo for Balira you get a special backpack and a power coil so you can get Mefino's Trade Backpack with out ever going to levant to buy powercoils or you can use them to fix the water in cierzo

I you are referring to my epically bad gameplay then yes lol.

You can get hex magic anytime you can afford to pay the cart merchant to take you there and enough money to pay for skills. You are not blocked from going to soroborean dlc, in fact it acts like the factions of the base game ie if you want to play the story for soroborean you have to play it from start to finish not after you beat the game. Three brothers zone can be entered when you go to forest zone you just cant access old sirocco, this area you cant get to in the dlc is small compared to everything you can still access in the zone. You get at least two pieces of the slayer set by killing some of the mobs throughout zone and combining parts. Slayer set increases you physical damage for every piece and looks awesome.

@@SheenShots to make the 3rd piece you have to fight a mob in stone vault dungeon near vigil pylon. You need it brain to make helmet the other two pieces can be put together through easier mob parts

That's funny. Sometimes the dead in outward still move a little. We just have to accept it lol.

The chimera pistol works like the fabulous palladium shield but obviously from a distance and instant on hit.

@@SheenShots you only need to hand many to the guy in slums on roofs till he wont take anymore money. The merchant will appear in the blocked of area and has a chance to sell it. Alternatively you can also talk to the woman in ash armor with flower in her hair next to previously mentioned merchant, she will give you a quest to find someone in the vastness of the desert and if you can rescue them she will give you the pistol. No need to start any main quest or do any specific quests.

You use to be able to hold 30 arrows in your quiver but they changed it to 15 because it was over powered i think is what they said

oh boy I knew the "is Rune Magic OP" was going to come up eventually. Yes, it's strong very strong. But the only way I think it's op is because it's so versatile, even if you just have the 4 basic combos any mage build can make use of them. Runic Protection is absolutely fine, it's not too strong for its cost, lasts a good couple fights, and helps alleviate the weakness of a mage (health and armor), Spell Blades doubly so. Runic Lantern is nice especially, for the start with that mage build you made, since it means you're not just wasting your fuel on lighting the way. meaning you can keep your offhand lantern turned off and used purely for flamethrower (if you don't mind switching between book and lantern/torch). or even simply it being one of the brightest light sources in the game *above* your head, two handers and prospector backpack enjoyers rejoice! Runic Blade is.....yeah it's the weakest of the basic 4. Don't get me wrong, a weightless, fast, ethereal damage sword *is* good. The problem is it doesn't do a lot of damage, Puncture doesn't fully benefit with it, if you're carrying something like the Jade Sword/Mace or the Living Wood Axe you lose the mana cost reduction for a bit, and.... you're a wizard...you don't want get stuck in melee if you can help it. Also you might have a hard time amplifying the damage type if you don't have Mist. It's the one spell out of the three that could use some help. Hell, I say considering how magically inclined another weapon class is, The Runic Blade should be replaced with a Runic Mace! heck let it keep the same damage stats if you want just make it a mace in the impact department (speed can go either way doesn't matter much), and you have an amazing weapon! Add on atleast a 5% Mana Cost reduction while holding it and you have a weapon any mage will want in their "pocket" And then there's Runic Trap, the most spammable combat spell of them all. Yeah it's strong, especially in terms of impact/Ethereal Damage, but I think the strongest point is that it doesn't require setting up like other traps, has infinite uses, and it can detonate immediately under you in a pinch. I don't think nerfing it's damage is the way to go, instead make it have a "timer", like it has to wait at least 3 seconds before it can explode, it *is* a trap after all. I certainly hope in the Definitive Edition let they us keep the "Double Detonation" trick, because that rewards us for "setting up" the trap. In short, especially because this is a PvE game, I'd rather see Runic Blade get some fixes than Runic trap get nerfed. we all remember how heavy handed they were with the Cierzo economy trick and how much that hurt everyone (I miss my 3 warm potions from thick oil at the start in the coldest region of the vanilla game >:T), and how it didn't even solve the problem, just made people change their money farm (hint hint Seaweed, Blue Sand, Crabeye Seeds and Linen Cloths...as well as any loot you can get from the mantis'. And the amolite, if you're not going that armor route/already have the armor), we don't need them doing that to magic, which they *want* to be strong and that's why it's so combo heavy.

Great comment here and lots of good points! I think runic trap is amazing and definitely an "easy" playstyle if you are figuring everything out. It does tons of damage with very little effort. And I also agree that runic blade is kind of weak. Mostly because3 of the impact. Being able to stagger enemies makes Outward ten times easier and you don't even have that option with this sword. Small adjestme4unts might help both a bit for sure, but big changes are really not the way to go and could hurt that game rather than help it.

Ya, I think we are ganna head there pretty soon because it is getting old not having the hexes. Plus they are so fun to use so it feels kinda lame not using them right away.

@@tmoon4596 I have recently fell in love with the totem skill tree. The massive defense it provides is insane. Hexes have that long-range though which is so hard to walk away from.

I know it's a little late but I call my ghost "Intern". They fight for you only for the working experience and don't complain no matter what you fight or where you go or you getting all the loot. Bonus points if you pronounce his name with an authoritative and arrogant tone.

Its just pretty fun to play with. I wont use it forever but its nice to have for the beginning of the game.
