I absolutely love Sully introducing the squad at the beginning as these being the worst people for a co-op game, for the same people to then spend the rest of the video proving him right! (Well, Jon and Sully have great chemistry as always, but Laurie, Rosie, and Jon are basically all chaos in this video. x) ) As a side note, I now fully believe that Jon Gracey would unravel in a game of solitaire and somehow accuse himself of being the spy!

"Adam is in isolation" is an interesting euphemism for "sucks shit in hell", but I'll allow it. Jeebus, what an episode.

mysterium is great because you can really just force the ghost to have a silent mental breakdown

That last one hint was absolutely ludicrous, the bird cage linked to the officer locking up, the rope on the puppet linked to the rope weapon, and the conch had the same glowing light as the door in the kitchen! Sullivan and John are 100% justified in their choice

The utter duality of "Sorry Adam's family..." being immediately followed by "Hey! Addams Family (snap snap)" left me in tears. Jon, never change.

Laurie says: "Adam is in isolation' I hear: "I tied up that bastard in my basement. Now I own NRB." Just kidding Laurie. Should be a good episode!

@@mohammadmurie Well the game is heavily flawed. For example, say the Suspect had only ONE person with the color red. And out of ALL the cards the ghost had, only 1 had the color red, but everything in the actual card not that 1 spot of color, leans heavily to a different subject. The GHOST knows it is the ONLY choice he had out of all the cards to best fit the 1 person. But NONE of the other players know that. They don't know that the color Red is the most important part, as no other cards have red. They don't get to see the other cards that were declined. So they don't get the option to actually see what was NOT Picked and eliminate facts with that information. This is a very poorly designed game, where it would not surprise me if the "Win" to "Lose" count for this game was heavily screwed to 99% lost, and only 1% of all players who have ever played it ever actually winning.

@Jirodyne yeah true I only seen people get to the final phase of the game on some twitch streams of a group or 2 a few times and like I think most of those times they lost at the final guess

@@Jirodyne I disagree. I have played this game 7 times with 6+ people (5+ mediums) and only once we did not get to the endgame, and two times lost the endgame. So 3 loses 4 wins. The hardest part is the endgame if you don't have a crow and you have bad cards. Usually the ghost tries to save some cards during the play for the endgame, so he has one or two cards that will surely fit (so he chooses much earlier in the game than in the endgame) I think this game is degined very well, only thing I don't like are the voting points, because when you get to the murder weapon quickly, the meta play is to guess wrong on purpose, so other players can vote "wrong guess" and get guaranteed points.

If this gets a second playthrough, I'm voting in Ghost Lawyer Dom as the ghost.

I love Mysterium and I love how they turned a family friendly game like this (even my mom likes to play this game) into ... This.

My friends and I play this game ALL the time and despite having little moments of "wow, RUDE" when someone puts a token indicating you are wrong next to you, this is... wild. Like... this is a cooperative game. I am WHEEZING. Why is everyone so aggressive? Wh- Normally we are like "oh yeah there is a lot of brown in your pic but did you see the mushroom? That's a clearly poisonous one, maybe it's the poison!". The most anger happens on the Ghost's side because the cards are bad lmao.

I absolutely love this channel. It’s the reason I’ve even gotten into board games. They have so many great collection starters and these videos are perfect for seeing which games I might enjoy. I doubt they will see this comment but just in general, thank you no rolls barred

Specially the masterpiece series, when i first got into the hobby i was overwhelmed with so many choices and i couldn't decide what to get to satisfy my needs. But the series helped me a lot, I've bought every game they recommended except for Mansion of Madness ( i couldn't find a copy in my country) and love them all.

This is the most uncooperative cooperative game I've ever seen and I loved it. The ending was pure comedy bliss.

Loving the "already absolutely furious with each other" energy from the start of the video. That first game must have been frightful to see even Sully this vicious! (Or maybe they were all just hungry and exhausted, poor things) Adam... I would have picked the same as Jon and Sully, and I had paused the video to think about it. [light spoilers] . . . . . cage = prison, marionette strings = rope, and the last is a stretch but I assumed bad cards... coins = saving = larder.

This is the greatest ending to any board game I have ever seen.

This one is the literal definition of chaos and I live for it. Holy hell folks. Holy hell.

I definitely picked the cop in the end too. The bird cage was like a jail, and in the shape of his hat. The bird also in the location. The string like the rope. Etc etc.

What amusing to me is that I have played this game many times with family and friends. Not only has thew atmosphere been much...nicer, but we almost always win. I love these guys.

my favorite things to do as ghost: 1. when using the crows, either be completely silent and put them up when the players are discussing, or interrupt them by literally just saying "caw caw, cawcawcaw, caw caw caw." 2. call out a color to give a vision to in the middle of a discussion 3. be able to give the vision card thats just cogs to the player with the driver

Man I love Mysterium, probably one of my gaming groups most frequent picks. I have to say though, they could have gone a little meta to make that final choice for Laurie in round 1 less stressful. Adam said when Sully got his right home he was very upset when he realized there was a stool, implying there was no stool for him to look at behind the screen. One of the reasons the game tells your ghost not to talk, it's too easy to inadvertently give stuff away lol. This was a super fun onr

@@11th-lemon ah yeah, I've been behind that screen many a time and it's a frustration that has bit me in the rear before. You only see the images that correspond to the players, you actually don't see and often aren't paying attention to the extra answers. The amount of times I though I gave a great clue, only to have it apparently perfectly represent a choice I hadn't even seen is too much to count lol.

Ha ha! Brilliant playthrough. Last round is always difficult. So much ambiguity. Hope Adam is out of Isolation for Dead of Winter. Was the first game I introduced to my non-gaming friends to get them hooked on the hobby. Still love it and John’s favorite type(co-op with hidden traitor) by the sounds of it! 😂 can’t wait to see that.

I also agreed with the detectives' majority choice on the final phase of the game. Definitely some misleading cards in there, but what fun!

You play this game way differently than I do... We pass out all the cards and have the players all flip at the same time and then they have the minute to decide what they think they are and voting on other decisions.

Wow...if I went with my gut instinct I'd have got it on the one card Laurie got to see. (The reason Adam gives for that clue being what made me want to guess that). Crazy.

I thought it was 3 cause the marionette had massive hair for the barber, the birds for the trophy room, the giant coins were heavy for the weights.
