GameCube games could only be played on first generation Wii consoles. Second generation Wii units from 2010 and the later Wii Mini physical cannot play GameCube discs. You can tell which Wii units can or cannot play GameCube titles by the orientation of the Wii logo on the front of the console. The television picture of GameCube games on Wii is slightly darker than the GameCube itself.

There are some Wii's that can't play GameCube. Thank you for your valuable comments. I really want the Wii Mini because it's not sold in Japan.

ゲームキューブは名作が多いんですよね！今やっても楽しいソフトがたくさんですね！

Wiiのクラシックコントローラーで出来たら良いんですけどねぇ。。。コントローラーとメモリーカードを揃えるのがネックです

ゲームキューブはwiiのクラシックコントローラー使えたら便利ですよね！GCのコントローラー単体で2000円くらいするのは地味に痛いですね・・

Wiiでやるのも良いけど実機が良い

実機でプレイするのが一番しっくりきますね＾＾

ゲームキューブを持ってても、３色コードに対応するテレビじゃないといけなくて…

確かに端子問題ありますよね。。HDMI変換するケーブルとかも気になっています。

画質はWiiの方が綺麗だったりするのかな？WiiではGCやったこと無いから気になる

こちらは議論があるのですが、個人的にはwiiの方が若干綺麗に感じました！（あくまで個人的感想です＾＾）
