it's what I like to refer to as my Dice Curse

LOL at the start of the game Paula forgot to resolve both the failed walk and the failed sprint. Possibly due to having been so focused on the failed roll that the results weren't checked. Also forgot to flip the killer's finale power when the last terror card was discarded.

Looking forward to the second batch of this solo-goodness. They chose the right “girl” for this game, thank you Paula

Will this be a series? Playing through all the different scenarios? 😁 absolutely loved watching this!!

After your last Final Girl video, I actually went out and got the core box and the Frightmare on Maple Lane Feature Film. Beat it on my first try, but I got REALLY lucky on my searching and events. This feature film looks really interesting!

I love watching you play Final Girl! You make it so much fun. I wish I could have watched live. I noticed in round 1 and 2, you didn't take the failure consequences on the Walk (19:00) and Sprint (27:30) when you failed the rolls. In particular, Sprint makes you lose a health on failure. 😥

Play focus and get the horror track down again because it’s almost certainly going to go back up at least one , that way you will probably still be rolling 3 dice instead of 2. Do this whenever you can , it will pay dividends.

I just got my Season 2 stuff today. Got shredded by the Evolmorph and killed the Big Bad Wolf. I might try this one tomorrow.

Getting the bundle yea new Mat big difference cosmetically one of the boxes gives you deluxe things and 4 extra final girls (no minis though) but one of them I feel like when you get her final ability she gets ANY final girls ult that you chose

I think this scenario is referencing The Strangers. Really fun movie about 3 masked killers tormenting some vacationers in a cabin. I think a sequel came out not too long ago, but I haven't seen that one

Few years ago actually over all its “decent” but slightly shifted into “supernatural” territory but one of the most deaths Made me cringe and worse than all of the actual deaths imo

I feel like it's worth mentioning, you were losing a bunch of health unnecessarily from that Dark Power card. The one that make you roll a die and check how many killers are still alive only increased Bloodlust, it didn't damage your health. Well played otherwise though! I'm really looking forward to trying this when I can get a copy of FG

d'oh! You're totally right! That's a bloodlust symbol on the card, NOT a damage symbol. I'm honestly surprised no one in the chat caught that and corrected me. Thanks for pointing it out!

Okay seriously though, with how chunky those dice are I wonder if you maybe need to roll them in a cup or something? I've got tiny hands and I always feel like I can't rattle them around enough to really randomize them

FYI, when you fail a walk you have two options and both require you to lose 2 time, sonyou should have lost 2 time when you failed your walk... you could have spent a heartbto move 1 space. Also, I recommend always discarding your close calls if you have a 3 or 4 instead of attempting the reroll and HOPING for a success. Discarding is a guaranteed success.

Hi! I want to check why you don't resolve to do the effects if you get both failures? Like on or around 29:30... There should be an effect on health I think when we get failed dice rolls right?

Sometimes I just forget to do all the Failure effects on the cards. I've been much better about it in my more recent play throughs, though!

I was looking at the recently published rules for Season 2, and it's not obvious to me that you have to "stop" on a supply space to get the supply. It could be like saving victims, which can be done mid move, or it might be like a "free action card" which couldn't be done mid move. You seemed pretty sure, did you get clarification from somewhere? I would honestly have assumed the first option, that it was available mid move, but perhaps you have insider knowledge. Great play through! If only your early dice luck had stuck around! I mean, that planning roll followed by weak attack. Brutal. Final Girl can be... brutal. RIP.

EDIT The rules for Wingard Cottage say that you can grab supplies "while on one of these spaces", which I take to mean that it can be done DURING an action, like moving. ORIGINAL POST It's definitely not in the rulebook, but I know it was discussed on the kickstarter at least once, you have to conclude your current action before playing another action card for its abilities. I also found this comment on BoardGameGeek: "I believe movement is restricted in that you cannot interrupt a movement action to attack, set a trap, search or something else. Rescue victims is the only action I believe can be performed during movement."

@@invaliduserist I agree the rules are pretty clear that you have to finish everything from one action card before playing another action card, and I know they clarified that this included playing trap or item cards. But getting a supply card, much like rescuing a victim, doesn't have an associated card, so I feel like either interpretation is possible.

@@DMWaldo Oh I completely whiffed, I though you were talking about items! The rules for Wingard Cottage state "While on one of these spaces, you may gain the corresponding Supply Item card at the cost of [Time]." Mechanically, you do not need to end your movement, this just happens as you run by.

19:00 You forget a lot about doing the fail effect on a card when you roll a total fail. Sometimes, you treat it as a total wash, nothing happens. I see it on a lot of vids. I don't know how many more times it happens on here as I am only 20 minutes into this one right now. But, just something to watch more closely. A total fail has an effect, too.

That last roll probability was believable. You rolled 3 1s and 3 2s. IE 2 3 Pais on 6 sided dice. Those are super long odds. To get all the same number on 3 dice is 1/36 out of 216 different possible outcomes. But you did this acutall did this twice in the same roll. Since each dice is a 1/6 to rolling all the same on all 6 which is (1/6)6=1/7776 =~ 0.01286% So the the exact odds of all all failures on those dice on that rolls was less then was 0.049%. Just unbelievable

you absolutely are! I'm surprised the twitch chat didn't catch that error... maybe it was because I confused everyone but saying I was going to Walk about 20 times before actually doing it hahaha. Good catch on that!

Hard to play Final Girl when you've got quicker/more streamlined games like Unbroken, Gate (and expansion), Desolate, Adventure Tin, The Dead Eye etc. Plus tighter "big" ones like Warp's Edge. I got Wreckland Run, but haven't tried yet.
