Seriously. 2 minutes in and we have Perrin the Blacksmith and Viva La Dirt League's fisherman. It'll hopefully be fun finding all the little references.

I remember being a beta tester back in 2019 and im proud that this game has grown alot and i can just open the app and take a look at all of my work back in the good old days

Just started playing this game a couple days ago, really enjoying it. I like how they handled the 'shinies' in this game not only having different variations but also making them more than just colour swaps and making them actually more useful. Mid-battle evolutions seems like such a no brainer as well. Also appreciate all the customizable options for the difficulty and randomizers in the beginning.

This game is gonna be so good I can’t wait to play it when it comes out for switch… when you realize Nintendo switch version has been delayed and nobody knows the release date now🤦‍♂️

Finally. Some good stuff on this boring morning. But I still kinda wish we had a x2 battle speed option.

Hopefully if there’s enough request for it, the devs will add it. They said in the Reddit AMA that they plan on adding more QoL changes in updates.

I like the fact that you aren't a 10 year old when shenanigans happens. That was one of the reasons I liked coliseum so much was you were an adult, relatively.

Epic NPC Man insert? I'm sold!

As a game dev, I often find it curious what overworld objects are animated, what aren't and why. Some things could have animations, but if it's a concern over fps then I get it. Also you pointed out that it's odd for a blacksmith to work on a fence. I noticed the fence has metal latches, so that's probably what he was working on. I think my only critique of the playthrough is I wish you would skip text less often. You might be playing this for your sixth(?) time, but for some of us experiencing it new, the skipping kinda ruins immersion. Also maybe spoil less stuff. If you keep mentioning all the things we'll unlock, things we'll fight and so on, what's to look forward to / be surprised by? All in all I think your commentary is fine and your rambling too and whether or not you make changes is your call, as it's your channel.

This definitely feels much more indepth to me than Nexomon did, so I believe I will be picking this up. I just couldn't enjoy nexomon as much knowing every monster was nigh identical besides the moves and the tiniest variations in stats.

A couple of points: 1) jealous af 2) jealous af 3) is it as good as you expected? 4) jealous af

So I started playing this about 4 days or so ago because I didn’t know it was out…I haven’t been able to stop playing it. It’s just so good! Like tbh I’ve been preferring this over Pokémon anymore and that’s so weird for me to say. But I am obsessed with this game. I already have other playthroughs planned out, including a team rocket type run and a nuzlocke most likely. I’m so excited!

34:26 898 is the current number of Pokemon and 151 is the total back in Gen 1. I like these references. :) I'm fine with the gameplay as it is.

Personally I use the stink module off cooldown for xp, it's pretty useful Every 5 times you use it you gain 10 xp iirc, and it's basically a free 20xp per hour for the challenges.

Ye, ye olden blacksmiths often doubled as the town handyman, they made everything metal from weapons and cutlery to door hinges and nails, some wood stuff when carpenters were busy, and just about any repair job around town

Watching this makes me feel I might be a bit more cautious than I should be... I did a grind to level 8, all potents before I left that first park area... and level 16 before I left Hayville. =)

I sadge that the game isn't out. I haven't been following the release date, so when I read the title I rushed over to my switch and searched the shop for it to no avail! Looks like a lot of fun though. I'll be playing it in three days!

Maybe the reason they want you to join the titan team is you are meant to be the sacrificial chaff. You go into suspected titans lose and then report so they can work out which more competent trainer to send.
