Great idea about making copies of the lures and then using then for stencils.

Awesome work! Thanks for the video! I have a few questions if you don’t mind? Would you show a picture of the Pledge revive it? This is what you use as an inner coat clear? Also, would you share your formal for thinning the cheaper thicker paints? Where did you get the plain bottles from? So you are buying the hobby store paint and thinning and putting the thinned paint into a separate bottle ready to spray? I think that was a US art supply thinner?

Yes I use “Pledge Revive it floor gloss”, Ace Hardware has it here, as an inter coat between stencils or any time to seal what has been done from scratches or smudges. Not a final top coat (actually never tried it for that). US Art Supply “water based acrylic airbrush reducer & extender base” to reduce DecoArt and Folkart paint from hobby lobby or walmart. It has the acrylic base in it so it maintains the properties of the paint. Createx 4030 balancing clear does, too, but it is too thick. I think I got the extra bottles at hobby lobby or Amazon. I put a slingshot ammo marble in each one to aid mixing.

@@manresarods4947 thank you for replying! You need to do more videos! You do an awesome job as tutorials. Would you mind sharing your mixing measurements for reducing the thicker paints? I’ve just started and using an Iwata eclipse hp-cs .35 tip. That .35 tip doesn’t like even the createx paints. Is that the badger patriot you’re using with .5 tip. Looks like it handles the thicker paints with ease? I think they make a .5 tip to go in the hp-cs. I’m gonna go look at hobby lobby for the upgrade

Man that thing looks awesome! Curious, what do you use for a clear coat? Do you use matte or a satin? Pledge? Thanks,

I use Mr. Resin uv crystal clear, from Amazon, and a 365nm light. Dip or brush on. It's glossy and very hard. I have tried Minwax Polycrylic clear satin and dipped, three coats, for that nice satin look and it's pretty durable and costs less. I think Walmart has it.
