Hi friends! I hope you enjoy this bookshelf tour. How do you organize your books?

i like to see that I'm not the only person that can never keep their books in 100% condition like i like books looking used and loved. Sometimes i watch booktube and their books look like they brought them and popped em on a shelf :*)

Same!! It’s funny because when I buy new books I try to pick out the one in the “best condition” just to bring it home and absolutely wear it down while reading lol 🥲

@@remisreads me too! I sometimes spend 20mins just staring at 2 books going "hmmmm which is better" I kid you not it'll spend 5 mins on my shelf and have an indent :*)

Thank you so much! 🥹 and ooh…. That’s so hard! Haha I’m such a mood reader. It depends whether I want a palette cleanser book that’s easy to read (romance or mystery) or if I want to use my brain a bit more/there’s higher stakes (fantasy/historical fiction). This year I really want to explore more sci-fi and dip my toes into horror… 🙃 Cozy fantasy is a new genre I’ve been loving. Low stakes, high fantasy. Mystical creatures doing mundane things. Sorry this answer was everywhere! Loll what popular genres do you enjoy the most?

Oh. Try Pet Semetary or The Shining by Stephen King. Definitely The Shining, cause Billy Summers has an easter egg of The Shining in it... 🤫🥚

Emily Henry book ranking by me (a random internet stranger😊) Book Lovers is my fav book by Emily Henry! People We Meet on Vacation and Beach Read are equal for me. Happy Place might actually be my least favorite… I just didn’t connect with the characters. I haven’t read Funny Story yet but I’m not dying to get my hands on it so I’ll wait until the paperback comes out. I thought Emily Henry was the best until I found Abby Jimenez. Now I wish all of Emily Henry’s books had just been written by Abby Jimenez instead because the plot of each of Emily Henry’s books sounds so good but Abby Jimenez has a way with words and wraps you up in her stories in a way no one else can.

Oooh! Thank you for this! I absolutely love Abby Jimenez and the way she writes romance books. I just started reading my first Emily Henry book (Beach Read) and feel similar to you. I love the concept, but it's not pulling me in like Abby's books do. I'm not finished with it yet, though, so I'm hoping it may turn a corner for me! Also, my hold on Book Lovers just released to me on Libby!! So that will be my next read :)
