aww I’d love to do a video showing what I packed! As for visas i just have a basic visitor visa (90 days) and I’m using my Canadian bank account as well as the old German account I had during my exchange hehe

Hey! A tip i have is that I make sure to use one of my credit cards or debit cards that has no foreign fees (there's usually a fee of 3-5% per transaction, so it adds up)

I loved waking up and going on a walk in Paris. So much to seeeee

Salut Leah ! Aaah, Paris ! Ca fait longtemps que je n'y suis pas retourné (depuis 2018, je crois) J'y suis né, mais j'ai vécu presque toute ma vie à Bruxelles, du coup je ne connais pas Paris si bien que ça. Content de voir que ton voyage s'y passe bien et que tu as l'air d'apprécier ton séjour. All right, that was the little French lesson of the day ^^. Also, doubting yourself and feeling lost is a very common thing to feel when in your 20ies (and frankly, even a good chunk of your 30ies, and possibly 40ies, like me currently). The thing with the 20ies is that for the first time, you're getting to know enough about the world and about life to know that it is VAST ! With endless possibilities, at roughly the same time when it's the first time you actually get to live your life and do your life choices yourself. Which is equally exhilarating as it can be daunting, or even overwhelmingly crushing, for those like you who are creative and with a lot of imagination. In these times, it can definitely be scary to not feel like in control and feel lost in such a vast vast world, not knowing what your place might be in it. And it's perfectly fine. Such is the way of life. Before finding your path, you must first search for it. Nothing more satisfying than find out your own way after having looked for it yourself, rather than having it handed to you on a silver platter. Also, it's a feeling that never quite ends. Each problem or question leads you to find your solution to it... That branches into 2 more questions ! That once you solve, branches into 4 more questions... Ad infinitum. It's like a tree, with thick branches coming out of the trunk of life, and branches into branches that branches into branches... With some of them ending up with leaves and flowers (beautiful, you don't need to worry about them anymore), and others that just keep on branching forever. It can be frustrating, but at least, once you sort out the big branches that are closer to the trunk, your tree will be much more rooted and solid, your trunk will keep growing stronger, and as much as life is gonna progress, like in a good old Shaolin Horse stance, your feet still gonna stay grounded enough to not sway under the weight of the branches that keep accumulating further and further. So you see ? There is no need to worry about your questions about life. In time, good or bad, everything will lead to its natural answer. PS : If you're doing a birthday park hang this weekend, and if I can find an airbnb in Paris for the weekend, I might hop on a bus and come from Brussels to see you. Since you're not coming to Brussels, might as well bring Brussels to you ^^. It'be lovely to finally meet, after this couple of years of chatting in your comment section.
