Appreciate your videos man. Thank you Call of Duty footsteps is at the 110-140Hz range, so it would be best to increase the 125Hz. You can keep the smiley EQ, but just increase the 125Hz to 4 or 5 Merry Christmas to you and your family

the mic pops comes from using noise gate setting, I've tried all settings and all of them produce mic pops

I was recently looking at this headset, thank you for the review.

Question now on PC are we suppose customize the EQ and Dolby Atmos settings? Or leave EQ at default and adjust Dolby Atmos to gaming or Change both EQ and Dolby Atmos to gaming?

That mic is CRAZY good. I can't wait for them to make this without the passthrough. One thing I've had on a few wireless headsets in the past is a "hissing" sound constantly while I use them. Low volume white noise. Had them in the original g pro wireless headset. Do you experience that here?

Having an issue, downloaded eq’s on my pc but when I switch over to ps5, the custom eq’s don’t appear on my phone. I’m guessing we have to do them manually…

Can you explain why you put it up like that for call of duty? In which area are the footsteps, the killstreaks, etc. ?

Do you have issues with static noise when no audio is playing?

@TheTechne have you had any issue with Sonys 3D Audio? Saw couple people making videos complaining that the tempest audio doesn't work correctly because it has to be set as TV audio for them work through the hdmi

I have a MacBook Pro and it’s updated but I can’t get my G-Hub to connect to headphones..I’ve connect with my Apple USB-c straight to it and I did the the enable accessibility. Annoyed lol

Ive found that the wicked cushions make the headset more comfortable but really hollow out the sound. Id love to say they are good to use, but they really make the audio sounds much worse

Honestly if you already have the gpro X2 there is no need to buy these unless you are 100% going to utilize the pass through.

Hey man. So i just got done messing with the maxwells i found at microcenter today and i hate to inform people but i really was underhwelemd with them. Dont get me wronf i think they hsve pretty good clarity and are extrenly loud. How ever my gen 4 astros havd better sounding bass and are just farriers mroe comfortable. Are the a50x a noticeable upgrade from the a50 gen 4s??

I've been through a couple astro headsets and numerous logitech ones that they are worth it, I currently own a pair and I'm extremely confident in saying that these are my daily drivers for the foreseeable future. The only thing I will say is they are very pricey but worth it, so get them if you have the money to spare

I've been using the destiny sound. It sounds pretty good and bass also. But I'll try the starfield one, see if that's better.

Very good review but respectively I don’t play none of these games. I play rainbow six siege. I’m interested in rainbow six siege EQ says if you can make one. I’ve been asking for Q settings for rainbow six siege for at least six months and nobody have done one I have these headsets I bought them for rainbow six siege only please help.

I downloaded Eq’s for my a50x and I have the eq’s when I’m on pc but when I switch over to ps5 and I try to look for my custom Eq’s on my iPhone it doesn’t show my downloaded Eq’s. Can anyone help me out ? Do I have to just create Eq’s manually on my phone so I can use them on ps5?

the sidetone isn’t high enough on max compared to a50s gen 4 for me , it’s really annoying me

Just bought my A50X and Wicked Cushions Freeze earpads on Saturday. Havent tinkered with any setting but it has sounded great in the games (Apex, Battlefield 2042 & Cyberpunk) thus far. I was hearing enemies so easily in Apex that my random teammates kept asking what headset i was using to hear things so accurately.

I’ve got a good atmos setting for you when I get home if you play fps. Makes them loud. Footsteps louder.

so im about to buy a g pro superlight but i also might buy the model d wireless. the only thing keeping me from buying the model d wireless is that im worried it will freeze randomly for like 3 seconds like my current model d wired. does the model d wireless do this and could it be because my mousepad is white with black lines

I would say it depends on the game, but I'd go the gaming preset

I am using Dolby access on gaming - performance mode. Is it recommended to adjust the EQ on top of that? I seen on Reddit that Astro Vertigo said to use that and then set the EQ

Hi that's a no brainer astro a50x they have better drivers than the old a50s I ordered mine I suppose to be getting them this Tuesday can't wait there like the Cadillac of headphones or the king they should be the last gaming headphones I buy for many many years I've had them all happy holidays stay safe and happy gaming to all

I would turn it off when it's not being used just to save the battery life. But it can be used while being charged.

I have copied a couple of these. Only issue is that they only seem to be available for PC option. Doesn’t pop up for PS or Xbox on the app… HELP!!!! Want to use your EQs

I want to create multiple to see which one my ears like but dam that’s going to be time consuming.. got to do every game I play (COD,BF, The finals, and Fortnite)

Hey, man! Just got this headset today. I can't seem to adjust my game/audio on the PS5 for Call of Duty. Each time I press the button for Game, both my game volume and chat volume go up. And when I press the Voice button, both my game and chat volume go down. Anyone have any issues with this?

@@hdeez92 hey, man! Yeah, so the settings used in the official Astro A50X setup video on KZread are wrong. That’s what was messing with my settings. Here’s the correct settings for ps5: HDMI Setup - Console Settings - Audio Output 1. From the PlayStation Home Screen, navigate to Settings > Sound > Audio Output. 2. Change Output Device to USB Headset (A50 X). 3. Change Switch Output Device Automatically to On. 4. Under Headphones, change Output to Headphones to Voice Chat Audio. 5. Change HDMI Device Type to TV. 6. Under General, change Audio Format (Priority) to Linear PCM. 7. From the PlayStation Home Screen, navigate to Settings > Sound > 3D Audio for TV Speakers 8. Change Enable 3D Audio for TV Speakers to On. 9. Change Apply Measurement Results to 3D Audio to Off.

You have an astro/logitech code? I'm ready to preorder these when they drop more.

Can I recommend you check out hunt showdown with this headset? That has some of the best audio ever created in a game

What is mind boggling to me is the using the same software ( Logitech G hug) With the Logitech g pro x2, they gave the Astro A50x's the adjustable EQ bars with way more customizability. That is insane to me. :( anyone update me if there is a way around that.

I have mine currently. Sound out of box sounds very all over the place even with the default eqs g hub has. Very disappointed with the sound currently.

The sound is very bad going from a40tr to a50x there is a difference, the dolby we don't even feel it, when my friends talk to me on discord it seems like they are in a trash can seriously.

@@codcobra0079try booking up to the app, I believe they have an update. Also make sure your main HDMI is going to the TV/monitor. Side note, put the headset on the station, and cycle inputs on the headset while on the station

@@TheTechne i did that the hdmi is going into the tv so i turn my xbox on i get picture so i know it works but its not syncing up to the dock i put it on the dock n tried cycling thru everything and nothing the bluetooth isnt even working on it for my phone so i can use it through the app
