    I am trying to do them right no, but I am not so sure about the fit. I cut a mockup in a size which fits me very loose at the waist (haven't done the darts yet), legs are ok, but when I try to sit cross legged, they pull in the crotch area, as if they are too tight there. Any idea how to fix that? Can it be that they are too loose and too tight at the same time?!

  • @stephtime

    @stephtime

    2 жыл бұрын

    the darts do make a difference, and it can be! make sure you're choosing your size based on your waist and hip measurements. if you have a bigger waist to hip difference, you may need to grade between sizes to make them fit you properly. for example, i have a 25" waist and a 37" hip, so for my next pair, i will grade from a 36 in the waist to a 38 in the hips through the legs. hope this helps!

  • @happytofu5

    @happytofu5

    @@stephtime thank you! I think measuring the hip is really the crucial part for me, since my waist is pretty small compared to it. I still have a lot to learn about measuring myself and the garment at the right times of the process.
