The Desert Storm skin for this Heli is probably the sexiest skin for any helicopter in this game:not only it's historically accurate,it is simply perfect

Lol that Gepard must be so mad at your last minute dodges. That looked so cool.

The nice thing is that against stationary targets it's basically fire and forget. As long as the center of the nose-mounted camera is pointed at your target, the TOW will go there. I like to use this to maintain situational awareness, to guide it in manually once it's close to the target. Also I wish Gaijin would add the AH-1J or even AH-1W, with Zunis of course. As always nice gameplay!

Been unlocking a few cobras recently (jp and is). Lovely helicopter even if it handles like a brick. I like that sideways hover strat of yours at about 4min, ill copy that for sure : ) thanks.

That missle seems very smooth in flight. The Chinese ATGM's on the Z-9WA have similar performance but with a better warhead and slightly further range.

I bring my SK60 out for gepards. 8km missile launches and running back to the airfield is gets to be pretty fun

Last night I was 1v1 ing silver in my AH1F vs his Mi24 and the big difference was he was able to shoot me down with his ATGMS a lot easier than the wire guided TOWS on the AH1F

This must be done wisely, no one wants hovering choppers at 50 meters altitude 10km distance away from airfields waiting for taking off planes with Vikhr, Stinger and TY-90.

1500 battles in AH-1F, it is hard right now. BR is ruined by Begleit, all Sweden + 2S38. Main advantage of this beauty - her narrow... eww... body with rocket pods with insane accuracy (golden crew). And again, BR is garbage, stingers in every bush and every dog has bloody proxy fusr

Plus constant up tiers which means you fight vehicles with IRCM, so if you don’t have the TOW-2 unlocked, get fucked.

Hovering makes you an easy target for even tanks, and climbing makes you spotted by everything.

Hind is better, I don't know why AH-1F still 9.7BR, even in Ground SB it is matched against Pantsir S1 BR bracket which is hilarious. I wish I can play helicopters like Gazelle, AH-1F and Mi-24P in Ground SB in a fair environment.
