I cannot begin to describe how badly I want a layout like this!! I love the fact that you have a separate track for the narrow gauge engines, it's just so perfect in every way (Also, am I the only one who noticed that the song credits for the first two tracks were swapped? No big issue ofc, but it came to my attention)

If you want quality wooden buildings, then you can use the wooden kits from Chili Lazer engraving. Most are of Australian prototype but there should be plenty of good ones for a mine.

I just realized something you can always make that layout into a N scale layout if you wanted to. But I don’t about the top area but for sure the bottom lines some Kato Uni track or Bachmann ez track could work

I considered it but the capsules just aren’t that great for running; they often jump the track and the motorized cars are EXPENSIVE 😅 That being said though.. Arlesdale.. 👀

It’s quite bizarre seeing the brightly-coloured plarail/trackmaster track on such realistic terrain, but the juxtaposition brings its own charm! Great job so far.

One is in storage and the other was given to a younger family member so they could use it; I explained it in an update awhile ago haha

I think Mattel sold the old tooling to some other low quality Manufacturer. And why the fakes are good!

Give it a month and he'll just return with a layout that rivals the old Too Much Thomas ones
