To solve the controversy anout his bow in his art / posters around the map yes he is adorned with a yellow bow. You may think "oh its always been yellow!" You are wrong in the game he has a normally light blue or fur blue bow around his neck area so there you can ask the devs why that is the deal. Dont yell at her:) Edit:the sounds he makes at the end is so adorable

Useful tip for getting fur out of seams : Pet brush! By brushing the seams, you'll easily get all the hair out :))

This looks really cool! At first i wasn't very interested in it being Huggy Wuggy as i was what toy you were going to use to make him, but this was quite an intriguing process, and the end result looks quite clean! Also i'm glad you didn't go with Cuddles as your base for this project. It would've been weird seeing one of my favorite FurReal Friends get skinned and turned into a bloodthirsty plush monster 😶

A good sturdy, bendable material are the things people use to make spines for long furbies. I can’t remember what they’re called, but if you watch a video of someone making a long Furby, they should show it. It’s obviously too late now to use that for the legs, but good to know for the future :D

Art doll armatures! I’d really like to get some for future projects, but I think they’re a bit pricey. Hopefully one day, I think they would have been perfect here!

I remember I had a couple Furreal Friends toys as a kid- I had the yellow duck and the yellow/green/red parrot (both of them had bottles that you were supposed to "feed" them with, with buttons as tongues that would have them make noises when pressed. I quickly lost the bottles but still loved playing with them); I had no clue the Furreal Friends line was still active, but it was fun nonetheless turning an item from a line I loved as a child into your own creation!

The yellow really does look great, I don't even know why there's controversy on it to this day due to the fact loads of people prefer him with the yellow tie

Out of all poppy playtime characters, my favorites are Huggy and Kissy, I have like 7 Huggy plushies and 2 Kissy plushies, So I am glad you could make one of my favorite characters! I read one of the comments were you replied that you weren’t planning on making more poppy playtime animatronics except for maybe catnap, but please consider making a Kissy Missy animatronic w< )

Ok so I had to look up the ribbon color controversy and the reason people are so confused is because the posters have the ribbon as yellow but the actual model's ribbon is blue. Personally I remember it as red

I think people mistake his bow as red because his lips are. But as others have pointed out his bow is typically blue but yellow does pop more in my opinion

By the way, I seen you use what I think is called a box knife? The knife that you can move up and down, but I recommend using that for fur, it’s so much easier than scissors in my opinion 🙃

Box cutter! I think they’ve got a few names haha. I’ve definitely used that on furniture before, but I think it was very very blunt so I had a bit of a bad time with it. I might try that again, thank you!

This is my first time watching, and I do like the content, but a tip for your little blurbs that pop up It's hard-to-read white on yellow, so I'd suggest using a different color if you are dead set on using white or just make the text darker like black. I have pretty bad eyesight and can see all colors, but that yellow background with white text is very hard to read, especially with how little time it is on the screen. Just an FYI this is not me being mean or bashing, I'm just trying to help you and others see your content better.

I think it’s possible to add a voice chip, kind of like the ones that Build A Bear use? The ones I’ve found are kind of expensive and a bit limited so I haven’t tried yet, but I really should with a future project!

ive noticed you have problems with the eyes on these guys, im wondering if using the same methods fursuit makers use for patterns (with cling wrap and duct tape) would be easier for you? i dont see any struggle with that, but that might just be because its not something they share, but it would also save fabric and provide a more fitted shape for things like faces where you dont want loose fabric. im not super experienced in stuff like this, though.

@tobyhorrorboy I'm excited for more upcoming projects of yours for sure! Been becoming a fan of all sorts of animatronics lately after a recent rock-afire kick, and these are the coolest things ever, even when I'm not originally a fan of or familiar with the character!

I know this is a year old so maybe you've changed up your method, but making teeth from foam clay is very quick and easy as opposed to having to cut, carve, sand, and paint foam chunks!

I alternate how I make teeth depending on the project, I’ve used thermoplastic beads a fair bit recently! But yes I love using foam clay, I think I was saving it for something else while working on Huggy Wuggy. I really need to buy more, my tub is almost out and I love working with it!
