Very cute watching granny’s tutorial. She’s a ahead of the game but she kept calling the instant pot the “oven”. She preheated her “OVEN” to 350” 😆 “Cakes out of the OVEN” 😂 so cute.

You can flour with cocoa powder instead of flour. I do it all the time. That way there's no white on the cake.

Your welcome only difference is put part towel on top of cake and shut the lid absorbs any moisture ☮️✌️👍❤️

I only make 1/2 cake mix and only cook it for 25 mins. It comes out awesome! 🍰

Your welcome and don't forget to put a piece of paper towel on top before you shut lid that will help with MOISTURE

Here's a Hint! If you "Flour" your pan try using Coco powder instead of flour to eliminate the "White Floury" mess on the cake.

Try lining your pan with strips of parchment paper maybe about 4" wide you won't have to grease and flour the pan :D I'm thinking you may have been right and less time to avoid the splitting? try 35 and then 30 and see if you can get away with it. I just became a Grand Mere in 2018 and I'm thrilled! So fun to see you here.

I saw the cake and remembered the line from "My big fat greek wedding" - " there is a hole in the cake")))) They ended up placing a flower pot in that hole)))

Donna Noe...have you tried making ice cream with frozen bananas,maple syrup and a little vanilla....easy in a blender and healthy with no added chemicals....goes great with 🍰 cake.

Try bakers joy flour spray. It makes the cake from sticking in the pan and doesn't have a dusty flour look on the cake. Cake looks delicious 😋 Great video!

I do milk instead of the water, butter instead of the oil, and add an extra egg. So yummy!

I am going to recommend this video to all my friends and family, mainly just to show them the part where she struggles to put the lid on. Had me in stitches.

Steamed cake does not have a browned crispy top like oven baked, but it's a good alternative. I've baked a cake using a coffee can in a slow cooker and it turned out spongy soft also.

In india not everyone has ovens unless you are rich or could afford. So they make stove top version .

Just got mine at Costco (Instant Pot Nova Plus) for $109.99. Just cooked 6 cups of cut carrots for 8 min. and they turned out great! I decided to watch some videos after the initial water test run. Looks more intimidating than it actually is.
